Levi's gaze softens. „What kind of situation have you gotten yourself into? Explain it to me?"
„I can't do anything about it. I don't even want to. I'm already too deep in it. And I couldn't turn these feelings off anymore."
Levi listens to your explanation. He senses the depth of your feelings, and although cautious, he finds himself sympathetic.
„The heart is complex, Y/N. It seems that your connection with that jerk runs deeper than either of us anticipated. But remember, we're still soldiers who have a duty to fulfill."
„I know you're worried. I would think the same if it were the other way around."

Levi nods, appreciating your understanding of his concerns. „I have to be cautious. The safety of our mission and the lives of our comrades are at stake. But l also see your determination and strength. It's in moments like these that true character is revealed."
He says, his voice firm but not cold. He gazes at you, searching for any signs of hesitation or wavering in your resolve.
„And they all treated you well?"

You take a moment to gather your thoughts before responding. „Yes, they treated me fairly well. They didn't harm me in any way, and they provided basic necessities. I wasn't tortured or anything like that."
„Besides, I have no idea what the Military Police and Zackly will decide. In the best case scenario, they will send him back to Marley. Because we got you back too. But I can hardly imagine that, since he is a Titan Shifter."
Your eyes widen at Levi's words, your heart sinking momentarily at the realization of the potential outcome.
„Back to Marley? Then I follow him...Levi, I know the rules, but my heart is with Porco now. If they send him back to Marley, I'll find a way to go with him. I won't let them take him away without a fight."
You look at Levi, your resolve unwavering.
„I love him, Levi. I won't let anything come between us."

„Your feelings are strong, and I can see that you care deeply for that idiot. But you have to understand the consequences of such a decision. It's not just about your feelings. It's about our entire mission and the safety of our comrades here in Paradis. I can't let anything jeopardize our operations... But tell me honestly, do you want a man whose time is limited?"
Levi's question takes you even more by surprise. You hadn't expected the conversation to go down this path, and you're caught off guard by the bluntness of Levi's question. You hesitate for a moment, „Why are you asking me this?"
Levi's gaze doesn't waver, his expression stoic and unreadable. „Just answer the question!", he responds simply. „Do you want a partner whose time is limited? Whose life will be cut short by just a few years?"

Your heart clench at his words, the reality of Porco's fate laid bare in such stark terms.
„Yes, I want him. Despite the limitations, I want to be with him." Levi's expression remaining stoic. Yet there's a flicker of something in his gaze. He doesn't say anything for a moment, letting your answer hang in the air.
„You and Mikasa are the same!"

„Me and Mikasa? We're the same?"
You ask, wondering what similarities Levi sees between you and Mikasa. „You both feel attracted to an idiot who can turn into a titan."
„I guess you're right in a way. Mikasa and I both see something special in our partners, despite their flaws. It's not just about their abilities or limitations, it's about who they are as individuals." You say with a small smile.

„But please behave! I know you will visit him. I don't want to hear any noises! And don't get pregnant! That would only complicate things even more."
You blush furiously at Levi's blunt warning. The thought of him thinking you would get up to such activities is downright embarrassing.
„Levi!" You exclaim, „I don't know what kind of ideas you've got in your head, but that's not what's going to happen." Levi gives you a sidelong glance, his expression still stoic but a hint of amusement in his eyes.
„I'm just stating out the obvious.", he replies, his voice dry. „You're both adults, in close proximity with each other, separated from the group... things happen."
