You grazed the stars,
Yet that's what you are,
You spoke the moon,
But you left so soon.

Luke was still mad the next morning, when he had to go back to his new school. Still mad at the fact that Calum apparently 'has an eye on her'.

Luke tried convincing himself that Michael meant he just had an ordinary crush on the pretty girl - but Luke knew better.

Luke knew his intentions, and by Violet's reaction, Luke knew that Calum was playing the innocent card and showing that he 'truly cared'.

Luke remembered the first time witnessing it, it wasn't that long after Luke had trusted Calum enough to call him his best friend that he did - it was shocking to Luke and he was so embarrassed to trust someone like that.

Calum was upset that Luke had left him, and he tried so hard to regain his trust and tried to convince him that he wasn't doing any harm to them - nothing bad was happening.

Of course, that was when Luke didn't know about Calum drugging the girls.

Luke only knew what he did because of Michael - Michael wasn't friends with Calum nor Luke at the time, at the time, Michael was also disgusted by the Kiwi boy and his drug addicted group of friends and he went up to Luke and, literally, asked "What the fuck are you doing with that kid."

But like Luke said, times change and so did Michael.

He felt more betrayed by Michael honestly, and couldn't help but be bothered by how much of a hypocrite he was.

Luke hated himself even more for the two betrayed friendships though, because he had been so low to actually go back and stick around the two - and then they left him to god knows where.

But now he knows that it was Canada, Luke trusted the two - got betrayed by the two - put up with their shit after months of them begging - and then they left him anyways.

Why?

Why would they do that?

Not only that, but shorty before they left, they made a promise that Michael and Calum would stop drugging them, using them and posting sex tapes of the girls all over the internet.

They promised.

Yet here they were, here Calum was, and Luke had no clue if this 'Ashton' guy was their new drug dealer. He sounded Australian, maybe it was the same on from Australia.

Luke didn't seem as angered before as he is now, now it's because Calum's involving Violet in this, and Luke liked Violet -

As a friend of course.

Luke knew Violet didn't need any more humiliation or needed any more putting down by anyone.

And especially not by some expert.

Luke had the urge to punch the Kiwi boy in the face again - yes, again - and even found himself desiring to knock some sense into his blue haired friend that seemed to have a temper all of a sudden.
