"Violeeet!"

Violet's eyes widened as she let out an almost inhumane squeal. Was Luke here yet? Did Violet even look Luke-ready?

Or...Luke-warm?

Violet almost laugh at loud at that one, good on you, Violet.

She was interrupted in her thoughts by Bailey and Maddie practically pouncing ontop of where she was sat, reading on of the books Bailey lent her. It was a kiddish book, but she liked it, something called Walking with the dead.

"Guess who's here." Maddie wiggled her eyebrows.

"Hm...let me guess, Donald Trump?"

"I'll have you know," Bailey scoffed, "I'm team Donald Duck and that was just offensive."

Maddie blinked. "Guys, we're not even American."

"Okay, team Justin Trudeau then."

"Oh yeah, he's legalizing marijuana!"

"We are the new Canadiana! High on legal marijuana! " Bailey screamed out. "Raised in the city of Toronto! We are the new Canadiana! "

"What was that, oh my god." Violet snorted, trying to keep herself from laughing.

Bailey opened her mouth to defend herself but was interrupted by an impatient knocking from downstairs - making Violet's stomach churn, because holy hell, it's her first date with Luke. Did she look okay? Did she smell funny? Did she look bad with makeup? Was she bloated? Did her breath stink? Oh god, did she brush her teeth this morning?

"Violet, you look like you're gonna shit 'yeself." Bailey noted, causing the purple haired girl to slap her arm.

"Don't be rude," Maddie snapped, "okay, Luke's about to fucking break that door down. Vi, I think it's time!"

"But I'm trash," she groaned as Bailey and Maddie practically dragged her off of the bed and down the stairs. Is Violet even socially acceptable enough to bloody date? Especially Luke?

She didn't feel it.

"If you're trash, then what the hell am I?" Bailey said, midway down the stairs.

"A marshmallow." Violed mumbled.

"Oh, I like marshmallows."

"I know," Violet perked.

She suddenly realized that she wasnt upstairs wasn't in Bailey's room anymore, she was down here, mentally preparing herself to go on a date with her already...Luke.

She subconsciously ran her fingers through her hair as Bailey swung the door open. And as soon as she layed eyes on Luke, she felt butterflies swarming around her stomach.

He's too handsome for her. He was wearing black skinny jeans (of course, but his special pair without any holes or rips), a black dress shirt and a half leather half flannel coat. He didn't even fix up his hair, it was just kinda flat. He looked...hot. A word Violet doesn't usually describe Luke as. But today was an exception, Luke was hot.

"Wow..." They both said is unison.

"You look amazing-"

"You look absolutely stunning-"

Realising they were both talkig at the same time with the same dumbfounded expression on their faces, they started laughing.

"Sorry," Violet mumbled, blushing.

"Don't be." He chuckled.

"Well!" Maddie clapped her hands. "You two are just the darlingist - is that a word? - couple of lovebirds in the world, but you have a date to get to!"
