Cliffs

"Cliff jumping?" I asked making sure I heard him clearly.

"Yeah. You've never been have you?" I shook my head and Brett nodded. "That would explain it. What about you Skylar? Ever been cliff jumping?" He asks Skylar, looking in the rear view mirror.

"No, I've never been either." She says.

"Alright, I've just got to pick up Gabe." Brett says and I nod.

He soon pulls into a driveway and parks.

"Come on." He tells me and my eyes widen.

"I- I don't," I shook my head.

"Please?" He asks and I sigh nodding. I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car. We meet at the front of the car then connect hands as we walked up to the front door. He knocks a couple times then we heard Gabe yell.

"Brett's here!" I laughed at how excited he sounded. The door opened and we were met by a beautiful woman, around her mid thirties.

"Brett! Sweetheart, how are you?" She greets giving him a big hug.

"Hi Aunt Marie." He smiles and her eyes travel to me.

"Who is this?" She asks smiling at me.

"This is-" he begins but Gabe cuts him off.

"That's Addilyn, Bretts girlfriend. She's never played Minecraft but I told her I'd teach her one day." He chirps and I smiled as Brett's aunt laughs.

"It's nice to meet you. You're as beautiful as he describes."

"The pleasure is mine, thank you so much." I said then looked at Brett.

"Alright, you ready to go buddy?" Brett asks Gabe. He nods and hugs his mom goodbye.

"It was nice meeting you. I'll talk to Brett so we can have a time when you two come over for dinner. You can meet the rest of the family." She smiles and I return it nodding.

"That sounds amazing." We said our goodbyes and got in the car.

"Gabe, this is Skylar and Liam. They're friends of mine, guys this is Gabe, my cousin." Brett introduced them.

"Brett, every time I come off with you it's like you always have more and more people with you. You're soon going to have to buy a bigger car." He says and we all laugh.

"We won't have to worry about that for awhile buddy." Brett says and continues driving down the road.

About twenty minutes later we parked the car and got out. As soon as I got out, I heard water rushing, I walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down.

"Watch out!" I heard Liam yell then I was pushed forward then pulled back but I let out a loud scream. My heart was beating fast and my breathing had picked up. Liam had busted out laughing and I scowled at him.

"It's not funny!" I exclaimed and swifted my hands from left to right making him slip and fall on his back. Brett and Skylar both began laughing loudly as I smirked at him and he glared at me. I walked over to the passenger side of the car and began to undress. I felt eyes on me and I looked up to see Brett staring at me. I smirked and walked over to him and he was shirtless, I placed my hands on his stomach and looked up at him. "What are you staring at?"

"Some girl. She was beautiful, I don't know how her boyfriend got so lucky." He says looking down at me.

"She wonders the same thing about herself." My eyes peered up at him. He smiled and pressed a sweet kiss to my lips. He pushes a strand of hair behind my ear before pulling away and grabbing my hand. We walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down.

"You gonna jump or hike to the bottom?" He asks me and I shrug.

"I might hike down first and watch you jump if you were going to, then ill see if I like it and if I do, I'll jump." He nodded.

"There's a trail to the right, just follow that trail and you should be good. When you get to the bottom, yell for me. I can see the trail, so if anything happens I'll see you." I nod and kiss his lips.

"Who's walking down with me?"

"Me!" Skylar called and I nodded.

"Let's go." She ran after me and we began to walk down the trail. It didn't take us long until we got to the bottom. I called for Brett and he came to the edge and I gave him a thumbs up. Liam walked up to the edge and scooted back a little before running and jumping off. He screamed the whole way down and when he hit the water Skylar and I both laughed. Gabe went next then Brett. They all called us into the water and we swam out to them.

I got to Brett and wrapped my arms around his neck as we floated in the water.

"So, do you wanna try it?" He asks and I shrug. I look up and see it's pretty short. "It looks taller when your up top, but trust me it's not that tall and it's a quick fall." I nodded and began swimming to shore.

"Is she gonna jump?!" Liam yelled and I nodded. He gave me a thumbs up and we hiked back to the top.

"I can jump with you, if you want?" I smiled up at him before nodding my head. We walked to the edge of the cliff and I grabbed onto his hand and squeezed. "You don't have to jump if you don't want to." He says but I shook my head.

"I want to." I confirmed and nodded. We scooted away from the edge our hands still connected. "Please don't stay up here while I jump." I begged and he shook his head then kissed my lips.

"Never." We counted from one to three then began running and eventually my feet came off the cliff, our hands detached. I let out a scream then water engulfed my body. I swam up to the surface and looked for Brett. I saw him climbing on the steps and walking behind the waterfall. I swam after him and climbed up onto the rocks. I walked behind the waterfall and listened to the voices that were talking.

"Leave her alone. Get out of here." Brett spoke and I heard someone chuckle. I looked behind me and saw Liam with Skylar and Gabe following after me. I turned back around and walked into the cave and saw Brett with 4 other people.

"She has something we want, we need and since her family hasn't given me the money I asked for, we get her." One stood his ground but Brett stood his ground too.

"You touch her, and you're dead." His breathing had increased and his face was red with anger. His eyes were beginning to change color and I knew what would happen next. Screaming behind me caught my attention and I saw Liam fighting a person while Skylar and Gabe were being cornered by atleast 5 men. I felt eyes on me and I shook my head. I began to feel anger as I watched the group of people getting closer and closer to Sky and Gabe but when they got close enough, I flung my hands in the air making them fly away from them and hit the rocks.

"Skylar! Get him out of here!" I yelled and she nodded grabbing Gabe then ran. Brett was fighting men and he had come tell changed. His claws began ripping into the people while others yelled at me. They began running towards me but I made them fly in the air and their bodies hit the rocks in the cave and they laid unconscious on the floor.

"Go! Addie go help Skylar and Gabe!" Liam yelled and I ran after Skylar and Gabe. I got to the top and they were both getting attacked by people. They punched Skylar making her body fall limp on the floor. I went to run after them when I felt hands grip my biceps and they held me back. I felt something hard hit the side of my head then everything went black.
