"I don't know if this is a good idea.." Skylar mumbles as we walk down the stairs. We were leaving my house to go to the party at Brett's.
"It's a good idea, just don't leave my side and you'll be fine." I've been to parties before, I was just never really... The party hard type person. I'd have a couple drinks and sometimes a couple smokes but that was about it. I never danced with any guys or acted like a total slut.
"What is your brother gonna say? What are your parents gonna think? Addie, I'm not sure if this is the best idea for you, for us." Skylar pushes and I sighed turning around to look at her as I stopped in my tracks.
"Listen, my parents don't give two shits about me and what I do. You should know that. My brother isn't my parent, he can't stop me from anything. Scott can't tell me what to do, plus he'll be there too. Just stay with me or Scott and nothing will happen." I assured.
"Fine, whatever." She sighs. I raise an eyebrow at her then turn around and began walking towards the front door.
"Where are you going?" My mom called out. I groaned and turned towards her.
"A party, yes Scott's gonna be there, no I won't get drunk or do anything I'm not supposed to. Yes I'm still a virgin and I won't have sex." I turned back around rolling my eyes and opened the door walking out of it.
"Do you ever get in trouble because of the way you talk to your mom?" Skylar's ask's. She always knows how my parents treated me, which was like crap.
"No, like I said they could give two shits. You know this stuff Skylar." I mumbled. We walked further down the street until we heard loud music and teenagers screaming. We walked up to Brett's house, and I opened the door walking inside.
Immediately people were screaming and bumping into me as they rushed through the house with drinks in their hands or they were pulling someone behind them so they could go hook up in the bathrooms. This world was a disqusting place.
"Aye! Addilyn you made it!" Brett's voice was heard and I turned my head seeing him rush over to me, twisting and turning through people. "Hey." He grinned.
"Hi."
"Thanks for coming. You look amazing! Can I get you guys a drink?" He asks.
"Just water." Skylar says making sure he knew not to put anything in it. He nodded then looked at me.
"Hmm.. Suprise me. Make it strong but not too strong." He smirked and nodded.
"I'll be right back." He makes his way into the kitchen and I turn to see Skylar with a pissed of look.
"What?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I thought you said you wouldn't be drinking?"
"I said I wasn't going to get drunk," I pointed to her. "I never said I wasn't going to drink. You should have a drink, loosen up a little." I giggled.
"I am." She defends herself. I gave her the look that says 'seriously?' And shook my head.
"Here's your water," he hands Skylar her water and she looks at it skeptically." "I didn't put anything in it, I swear." He defends himself.
"Sorry, she's very..." I thought for a minute trying to think of what to say.
"It's her first time?" He asks and I nod. "I get it." He hands me my drink. "And this is Jolly Rancher vodka. We took vodka and out Jolly Ranchers inside and let it sit so they disolved and... Yeah." He chuckles. "It's really good, it's watermelon."
I brought the cup to my mouth taking a sip. It was actually really good. Brett raises an eyebrow and I nod giving him a thumbs up.
"That's really good." I giggled.
