Bretts been gone for a couple days. He hasn't came around or went to school. All his time was spent with Gabe and honestly, I didn't blame him. They were like brothers and now that Gabe's back from the dead, he's going to spend as much time with him as possible, and I was more than okay with that. I wanted Brett to be happy, and if that excluded my time with him for a little bit then that was fine. He's still texted me and called me on the phone so it's not like he's completely gone.

It was inching closer and closer to the weekend. It was now Tuesday and I was so excited to have Gabe and Brett come over this weekend to play Minecraft. Gabe always loved video games, he wanted me to play them with him when we were together but I never knew until he sat down and taught me. The only game he hasn't been able to teach me yet is Minecraft, obviously, but to be honest I actually wanted to learn to play.

My phone vibrated, interrupting my thought process before I turned and grabbed my phone.

Sorry I haven't been hanging out lately. I've been with Gabe after I explained things to him. He's just really confused and doesn't understand how that was possible.

I sighed and responded back.

It's fine, I understand. I think we need to get their death certificates. Allison still doesn't really believe that she died so, maybe if we show it to them they'll believe us.

I sat down on the stool behind the counter that the register was sitting on. Work has been really slow today. I placed my phone down on the counter and looked around the shop. My phone vibrated yet again, causing me to pick it up.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Uhm let me talk to the rest of them and we'll try and get them.

I locked my phone placing it on the counter not responding.

Hours passed by and only a couple people ended up coming to the shop. It was now closing time, I put everything back to the way it should be, turned off the lights, grabbed my stuff, clocked out, then walked out the front. I locked it behind me before walking to Scott's car.

"So, how was work?" He asks beginning to drive off as I buckled my seatbelt.

"Boring. I've never had a more boring day at work. Like 18 people came into the store today, I don't know whether it was me or what but it was really slow. How was practice?" I looked over at him as he drove down the street. He shrugged, loosening his grip from the steering wheel. "What happened?" He sighs and shakes his head.

"Liam was getting mad at coach and his IED started kicking in and we had to take him off the field and let him cool off. Coach is talking about kicking him off the team because it's been getting bad." He explains and my eyes widen.

"Coach is going to kick Liam off the team?" I asked shocked.

"He's thinking about it."

"But Liam's one of your best players! He can't just kick him off the team!" I exclaimed.

"He's the coach, Add's. He can do what he wants. Liam may be one of our best players, but it's better than him getting on the field and getting in a fight or something." Scott explains more into the story and I just shake my head.

"This is stupid." I huffed slumping in my seat.

"I know, but coach is giving Liam one last chance at the game tomorrow, if his IED breaks out he's off the team." I continue to shake my head.

"Does Skylar know? Liam?"

"Just Liam, I think he's waiting to tell Skylar. I don't know what he's waiting for because if he doesn't tell her today she's going to find out tomorrow." I nodded, agreeing with him.

"And if she finds out that Liam knew and didn't tell her, she's gonna be upset."

"Why would she be upset?" He furrows his eyebrows.

"Because!" I slightly raised my voice. "He's her boyfriend, she puts all his trust in him and she expects the same. I mean honestly, all he had to do was tell her. It's not like he's telling her that he's got a drug problem. He might be getting kicked off the lacrosse team because of his IED, that's it. She knows he can't help it and she knows that y'all are working on it. She'll be upset with coach but that's about it." I shrugged my shoulders, shaking my head.

"I know but it's a stupid thing to get upset over... I get it but I'd never get upset about it." He says and I scoff rolling my eyes.

"You got mad when I threatened to take away your video game consoles because you never paid attention to me!" I exclaimed.

"That's thousands of dollars you would've taken from me! Not to mention, you threatened to sell them!" I chuckled letting a smile fall upon my lips. "Plus, I was just saying, I disagree with you and her about the reasoning of her getting mad, that's it."

"I will drop a house on you." I threatened and he raised an eyebrow, looking over at me.

"Really? You're seriously getting mad over this?" He asks and I nodded.

"Okay, the situation Skylar is in would be like you and Kira having issues like them. Let's just say... Kira was pregnant." His eyes widened. "And you put all of your trust into her. You told her everything, and I mean everything! She decided not to tell you, the way you found out that she was pregnant, was when she got the big round basketball belly, and she was about to explode." I looked over at him. "That's Skylar's situation right now."

"Yeah, but it's not as big as Kira being pregnant!" He defends himself.

"It's not about how big the damn problem is Scott! It's about the trust in the relationship!" I yelled and he laughed. "You're so damn stupid sometimes, I swear I want to punch you in the face whenever you get this way." I mumbled and chuckled, shaking his head.

"I love you to baby sis." He smiles and I just roll my eyes at him and his stupidity.
