Day To Myself

My eyes slowly opened them squinted due to the light flashing in my window. I groaned and blinked a couple times before sitting up. I looked down to see that I was laying on my history book. I sighed and looked at the time.

"11:16." I whispered and looked down at my history book again. I had finished my English and geometry last night and I only had a couple questions to do for history until I was done. I grabbed my pencil and quickly answered those questions before plugging my phone is and standing up. I decided to take a quick shower and got out. I brushed my teeth and did my makeup then began to curl my hair. I braided some of the hair at the top then walked to my closet. I picked out a crop top with high waisted shorts and my purple Vans.

I put on my outfit and grabbed my phone and backpack then walked downstairs. I grabbed a banana and ate it quickly. I walked out the front door and locked it behind me. I walked down the walk way and to the garage. I put in the code to unlock it and quickly walked inside grabbing my penny board then closed the door and back. I walked down the driveway and placed the board down on the sidewalk and put my right foot on the board then pushed myself down the street. Once I got to a speed I was satisfied with I lifted both feet on the board and rolled down the sidewalk.

I rode all the way down to the beach and skated down the pavement swerving inbetween and out of people as they walked around. I made my way to the shops eventually stopping myself. I kicked the board up and picked it up into my arms before walking into the surf shops they had.

I looked around for a little bit and decided that I needed a new bathing suit anyway. I looked around in the bikini section and picked one out. It was black with red flowed all over it. The top was strapless and it was shaped like a figure eight while the bottoms were regular. I picked up my size and quickly tried them on. I walked up to the counter and grabbed a blue Gatorade with one of those blowpop suckers with bubble gum in the middle.

"That'll be $36.72." The cashier said as he eyed me. I swiped my debit card and entered my pin his eyes stayed on me the whole time. I grabbed my bag and unwrapped my lollipop and put it inside my mouth. I put my bag inside my backpack and went to walk off but he stopped me. "Can I get your number?" He asks and I raised my eyebrow at him then pulled the lollipop out of my mouth.

"I've got a boyfriend." I smirked and put the sucker back in my mouth before walking out of the short. I went outside and laid my board on the ground then put my foot ontop so it doesn't roll away. I search through my backpack and grab my Gatorade. I unwrap the plastic wrap from the top and unscrew the top taking the paper cover off that part too. I screw the lid back on before taking a sip and putting it back in my bag. I flung my backpack over my shoulders before pushing myself on my board down the street.

My phone began to vibrate and I pull it out of my back pocket quickly looking at the caller ID then looking back infront of me to see if anyone was infront of me. I looked back down at my phone and slid my finger across the screen to answer it. I pull the sucker out of my mouth.

"Babe?" Bretts voice calls threw the phone.

"Hm?" I hum in response and put the sucker back in my mouth.

"Where did you go? I'm at your house and you're not here." He says and I sigh.

"I'm at the beach, the one that's like 15 minutes from the house." I mumbled with the lollipop in my mouth making it sound funny.

"How the hell did you get there?" He questions and I stop at the beach bathrooms. I pick up my board and walk inside.

"I skated here." I replied and locked myself in the big stall. I began to strip my clothes and put on my bikini. I put my clothes back on quickly and threw my backpack over my shoulders.

"Alright, I'm going back to my house to change then I'm coming there. Don't leave okay?"

"Mhm." I mumbled and he sighed.

"What's wrong? Is it about last night?" He asks and I roll my eyes.

"No, I'm just trying to do fifty million things at once." I giggled. "I'm changing while talking to you and eating a lollipop while trying to hurry."

"Such a great multitasker." He says and we both laugh. "Don't leave the beach okay, I'll be there in like 20 minutes." He tell me.

"Okay, I'll be skating around waiting. If I'm not skating around I'm either on the beach or at that taco place." He laughed and we said goodbye to each other. I walked out of the bathroom after I finally got myself situated and began to skate around.

I know it's short and shitty but I'm bored and it's 2:30am so I figured why not?
