Work Visits

Hey, quick message really quick, I wanted to let you guys know that if you have a Polyvore, I will be making Addilyn's outfits on there and posting them before I post the chapter so that way you know her outfit and I'll also title the outfit what I'm going to title the chapter so you know what the chapter will be called and what her outfit is! I walked into work today with a smile on my face. I really loved my job. It was fun, easy, and I was working with stuff that I knew very well and loved.

"Hey Addilyn." Julie smiled at me.

"Hi Julie." I returned the smile.

"Brad isn't in today so he asked me to run the station in the back and have you do register and restock up here if you can handle it." She says following me as I clock in.

"Okay, that's fine. I should be able to do it but during rush hour I might need your help if it gets too crazy." I laughed and she nodded.

"It does get pretty crazy, but if you need help just ask." She says and I smiled at her. She walks to the back and into the station. I turn up the volume to the radio.

I had finished my classes for the day, it was around three in the afternoon and I was suprised no one was in the shop. I stood behind the counter and waited for someone to come into the store.

As time passed people began to fill the store. I was asked by multiple people for suggestions. I had suggested a lot of Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Sleeping With Sirens. I ended up not asking Julie for help as I covered it all myself. Today's rush hour wasn't as bad as it normally is.

It was now ten minutes until closing time and there was no one in the store. I walked over to the cd stands and began grabbing all the cd's that were out of place then placing them where they belonged.

"I'm gonna go ahead and go. Do you need help closing up?" Julie asks and I shake my head, smiling up at her.

"No, I've got it. See you on Monday."

"Okay, have a good Friday night. Maybe go out with that boyfriend of yours." She smirks and winks at me. I laughed and shook my head. I heard the bell open as she walked out but I kept my focus on the cd stands looking for anymore cd's out of place. I grabbed a Bob Marley cd and looked at the back. I decided on getting it, I straightened out and turned around bumping into something hard letting out a yelp.

"I'm sorry," I said then looked up to see Brett smirking at me.

"Mind helping me with something?" He asks and I look up at him.

"Depends on what you need help with sir." I raised an eyebrow.

"I need to know if you have a boyfriend and if you do, how he got so lucky." He says putting his hands on my hips.

"I do have a boyfriend and I don't know how he got lucky, I got lucky as well." I replied and he smiled down at me. He leaned down and connected our lips together.

"Hi." He says when he pulls away.

"Hey." I smiled up at him. I walked back to the register and checked out my cd and paid for it.

"Bob Marley huh?" He asks taking the cd into his hands.

"Yeah." I said looking up at him. I closed the register and tore my receipt from the printer and threw it away. I went in the back and turned off all the lights then clocked out. I grabbed my backpack and walked out to the front with Brett following behind me. I turned off the lights and locked the door as we exited.
