"What are we looking for again?" I breathed heavily. We have been hiking for almost two hours and honestly, I don't think I could walk back.

"It's not what, it's who..." Liam replies as he looks around him.

"Well sorry I didn't know, y'all dragged me out here and didn't tell me shit." I huffed. "Who are we looking for anyway?"

"Your best friend." Liam snaps and I furrow my eyebrows.

"What the hell you getting snappy with me for? I didn't do anything." I hissed back.

"Yeah, well if you hadn't have forced her to go to that party she wouldn't have ran away." He stopped and turned looking my way. He was sending me vicious glares as his nose flared and his face turned red. "After we got away from the cops, she got upset and left. She didn't say anything to anyone because she didn't want anyone knowing she was leaving, much less where she was going." He stepped closer to me.

"Whoa, back up." Brett says pushing his hands inbetween us. "In no way is this Addilyn's fault. She may have forced her to go to the party, but no way in hell did she tell her to runaway."

"Are you stupid?!" Liam's voice got louder. "She ran away because she was forced to go to the party. She didn't want to go in the first place and Addilyn peer pressured her into going."

"Yes, she's my best friend okay? I really wanted her to go but I told her she didn't have to go if she didn't want to! I didn't force her nor peer pressure her into going. She went because she wanted too!" I replied.

"She went because she knew you'd be upset if she didn't! She's always trying to please you! She knew that if she didn't, you'd be upset and she would feel guilty!" Liam yells and I scoff.

"Well, I'm just saying, I told her she didn't have to go if she didn't want too, but she did. It was her choice to go." My voice grew louder in frustration.

"And I'm just saying that if neither of you wanted to go to the stupid party she never would've ran away!" He yelled, charging towards me. I raised my hands sending him flying in the air, landing on the ground about 10 feet away.

"Don't you dare blame this on me! It wasn't my fault! None of it! So quit saying that it's my fault when I had nothing to do with this!" I yelled walking over to him. I brought my hands up raising him to the air and stared at him. "So how about instead of you blaming me because she's gone, how about you shut the hell up and help me find her!" I dropped my hands and he fell to the floor. I marched away from him and began calling her name. "Skylar!" I yelled. "Skylar! Come on, please come home!" My voice cracked. "Quit hiding and come out!"

"I can hear her heartbeat, so she can hear us." Liam speaks softly.

"Skylar! Listen, I'm sorry!" I called out. I heard a twig crack and my head snapped to my left seeing her standing there. She had her right arm crossed over stomach as she held onto her left arm. The corner of her bottom lip was pulled into her mouth and she looked upset.

"It's not your fault. You're right, I wanted to go but then again I didn't. I went because I thought it would be fun. I ran away because something happened and I'm freaked out." She shakes her head.

"What is it?" I questioned and she sniffled. Liam to a step towards her but I held my hand out, keeping him in place.

"I- I have wings." She stutters.

"What?" I asked.

"What are you talking about?" Liam asks.

"She's a Siren." Brett speaks up. We look at him and he sighs. "She can attract men by singing then eventually killing them."

"But I don't want to kill people, I don't need too!" She exclaims.

"No you do. In the world we live in, you will always need to kill. Someone will always be after you." Brett explains but she shakes her head.

"I don't know why I have them, none of my parents are a Siren, so I don't understand." Skylar says confused.

"Let's just go back to Addilyn's house so I can explain everything, okay?" We all nod and we begin walking back to the road. We got inside Brett's car and he quickly drove us home in silence.

We got home and walked inside.

"Scott?" I called and he trudged downstairs."

"What?"

"Can you help me get some drinks? Guys you can go to my room, if you want." They all nodded and Scott came into the kitchen with me.

"What's going on?" Scott asks confused. His eyebrows were furrowed and he stared at me as he grabbed bottles of waters and handed them to me.

"Skylar ran away. Turns out she's supernatural." I took a couple of the water bottles and looked at him to see him jaw dropped.

"What?" He gawked and I nodded.

"Shes a Siren." I mumbled taking a sip of my own water.

"How did she find out?"

"Don't know, that's what we're about to find out." I sighed then made my way up the stairs Scott following behind. We got to my room and we walked inside, Scott closing the door behind him.

"Thanks." They all mumbled as we handed them a water.

"Alright, so explain how you found out about whatever happened." Brett says and Skylar sighs.

"I was taking a shower last night and I felt this pain in my back, I got out and then I felt pain that was worse than before and then they just... Popped out." She explains shrugging her shoulders.

"They just popped out?" Brett furrows his eyebrows and she nods.

"Like a boner after looking at playboy magazines?" Stiles asks and we all look at him with straight faces. He sighs shaking his head muttering something under his breath.

"When in the hell did you get here anyway?" Skylar asks and Stiles shrugs.

"I was in the living room then y'all came home and didn't notice me. I feel the love guys, I really do." Stiles explains.

"Alright, back on to the point. They just popped up?" Brett says getting us all back on the right train or thought. Except Stiles. Stiles is never on the right train of thought as everyone else unless someone is possibly dying.

"Yeah. The just popped out." Skylar shrugs.

"Sometimes they do that. For the first time when someone gets their wings they sometimes just pop out unexpectedly. It's always when you're alone though." We all sat around and listened. "Now you said that your parents aren't anything supernatural?" Brett ask's and she shook her head.

"It could be a generation thing." I spoke up making all eyes turn on me. "I mean, it could be like witchcraft. It can skip generations and hit one then that person would be the Supreme. Maybe it's the same with Sirens." I shrugged.

"You're right." Brett points to me while nodding. "It's the same thing. It skips through generations sometimes."

"I just don't understand why it was me." Skylar's sighs slouching down on my bed.

"You were chosen and you were chosen for a reason. There's something special about you, maybe your family hasn't found it yet, maybe you haven't found it yet. But you don't get picked for this stuff for no reason." I spoke up and everyone nodded. I couldn't believe it though, my best friend was supernatural, just like me.
