Maxine's P.O.V.

We had managed to make it through as we hid under Harry's cloak and headed to Hogsmeade as Harry got a lollipop at one of the stores. "We need to look for Ron and Hermione." I whisper to Harry as he nods, "But where do we look for them?" "I don't know. Let's just look around." It took some while until we saw Draco's groups approaching two people that I was sure were Ron and Hermione. Draco was of course terrorizing them and calling Hermione mudblood. As soon as he did Harry had thrown a snowball at Draco, frightening him.

"Don't stand there do something," Draco says. "What?!" Harry pulled me along with him as he pulled down their beanie and pants. As he kicks Crabbe's butt into the snow making me hold back my laugh. Then he went to grab the other guy's scarf and started spinning around him which made it a bit hard to stay together. Then we both grabbed one foot of Draco as we began to drag him towards what seemed like a haunted house. Draco starts screaming and starts running away. What made it even funnier was when he pushed his friends and told them to get out of the way.

Harry begins to play with Ron's Beanie strings up and down as Hermione starts laughing. "Harry! Maxine!" She yells as we pull the cloak off. "Draco's reaction was priceless. Something about seeing him scared gives me a good laugh." "I know right." Harry agrees with me.

"Bloody hell, Harry and Maxine. That was not funny." Ron says with a scared look as we laugh. "Oh come on don't be such a scaredy cat," I say. "I'm not a scaredy cat."

We started walking back to Hogsmeade as we explained how we managed to leave Hogwarts.
Ron: "Those Weasels. Never told me about any Marauder's map."
Maxine: "Hey it must they like us more than you." I stick my tongue out as he rolls his eyes.
Hermione: "But Harry or Maxine isn't going to keep it. They're going to turn it over to Professor McGonagall. Aren't you."

Ron: "Oh, sure. Along with his invisibility cloak."
I lean in to whisper to Harry, "You better not turn that in." "Of course, I wouldn't." He whispered back as I felt satisfied with his answer.

Hermione: "Oh, look who it is. Madam Rosmerta. Ron fancies her."
Ron: "That's not true."
Maxine: "Oooooo Ron and Rosmerta sitting on a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g." I sing as Hermione laughs and Ron glares at me.

We watched McGonagall, Minister, and Hagrid who seemed to have tagged along as they mentioned both my and Harry's names. But me, Ron, and Hermione turned to see where Harry was only for him to disappear. "He left me!" I frantically search as we see footsteps in the snow. "Harry!" Hermione yells.

"Harry you better get back here!" But he didn't stop moving as steps inside. "I say, no underage wizards allowed in today. Shut the damn door!" Those hanging heads yell back at us."

"So rude." "Thick heads," Ron says as they are very offended at Ron's comment. We waited outside for Harry.

It took a few minutes before he came. "Max, Ron, look." Hermione points towards footsteps as we see them lead up to a group of singers as Harry walks straight in the middle making them fall. I ran after him, unlike Hermione or Ron who wished them a Merry Christmas or an apology. I continued following the footsteps of Ron and Hermione behind as I froze when I heard Harry crying. I walk towards him, I carefully remove the cloak as I kneel in front of him.

"What happened?" My voice filled with worry. "He was their friend... and he betrayed them. He was their friend!" His voice filled with anger as I slowly wiped his tears away. "I hope he finds me. Cause when he does, I'm going to be ready. When he does, I'm going to kill him!" I gripped his hands, "But we-we don't know that for sure. Harry, we need to hear reason." "Maxine he was the reason our parents are gone." It was hard to think of what to say next, "Don't get blinded by anger Harry. Killing someone, killing someone is not the right thing to do." "I thought you would understand Max." He pulled his hands away from me as he looked away.
