- "OOH! OOH! And he scores!"
11 year old. Rick laughed as he watched Javi and Kevin play basketball.
"Rick! Why aren't you playing?"
"Well, I'd beat you guys to badly."
"Ya right." They both laughed and soon got a glare from Rick.
He was about to say something but the gym doors opened and 11 year old Kate ran in.
"Sorry I'm late." She panted."
"It's fine." Rick winked.
"Hey boys."
"Hey Kate."
"So now can we play!" Javi asked.
"Ya, now we can." Rick smirked.

Kate, Rick, Javi, and Kevin were best friends, along with Lanie who was on vacation with her family at the moment.
They had always been there for each other.
After playing multiple games they decided to get some burger's from Remmy's.
They ate and talked as usual.
"So I wonder what middle school's gonna be like." Kate said.
"Easy I'm sure." Rick stated.
"Ya, I talked to my cousin! Maria, she said 6th grade was easy." Javi stated.
"It's gonna be a blast." Kevin exclaimed.
"Ya it.." Rick didn't get to finish because his phone started ringing.
He sighed and pressed the answer button on his Iphone.
"Hello? Hi Mom, Err at Remy's with the gang. Yep, will do.. k bye."
He smiled and hung up.
"Everything ok?" Kate asked.
