Kate bounced her knee up and down.
She was nervous, real nervous.
Rick put his hand on her knee and she looked up biting her lip.
"Sorry." She whispered.
"Babe, relax, everything is going to be ok."
"But..What if something's wrong! What if..."
Rick took is wife's hand and squeezed it.
"Kate, our baby is perfectly fine, remember?
Last time we were here the doctor said it was perfectly healthy.
All we're doing today is seeing the gender."
Kate took a deep breath and nodded. "Your right, I'm sorry."
Soon the door opened and a middle aged woman walked in with a smile.
"Hello Kate! Rick." She said Cheerily.
One of the things Kate loved about her doctor was she was always smiling and positive
. "Alrighty, I see we have entered month 4." She said as she washed her hands.
Kate nodded, "Yea.
" "And.. I'm guessing we want to know the gender?"
The young couple quickly nodded. Doctor Jones smiled and started a machine.
"Ok, lift up your shirt for me."
Kate nodded and lifted her shirt up halfway.
Doctor Jones took some gel, "Ready?"
Kate nodded.
She rubbed the freezing gel on Kate and She squirmed.
"Way too cold."
"I know, we're working on it." She said and smiled.
"Ok." She said and moved the device around Kate's still small bump.
