Kate woke up the next morning and found Rick staring out the window.
She softly smiled and came up behind him, wrapping her arms around him and burrying her face in his back.
"You OK?" She asked and he sighed.
"I don't know, what should I do Kate?" He asked.
She could hear the fear in his voice.
Kate knew he was scared.
She would be too in his shoes.
Kate unwrapped her arms from him and made him turn around.
Rick sighed and looked at her.
Kate cupped his face with her hands and smiled.
"What do you! Want to do?" She asked.
Rick put his hands on Kate's waist and smiled
. "I'm going to go." he said and she nodded.
"Then we need to get ready." She said looking at the clock that read 10:15 AM.
"Right." He said and she gave him a quick kiss before going to get Hope.

At 10:55 Rick stood in front the cafe he was told to meet at.
Kate walked up to him after paying the cab fee and placed Hope's carrier down.
She smiled at the sleeping 8 month old before looking up at her husband.
He was standing there with his hands in his pockets and his eyes vulnerable.
"Rick." She whispered and he shook his head.
"I..I can't do this." he said and she took his arm.
"I'm right here, you can do this." She said and he looked at her then closed his eyes and nodded.
"Ok, let's do this." He said and Kate picked up Hope's carrier.
Rick opened the door and held it open for Kate.
They walked in and Kate quickly knew who his father was.
