She asked as they sat on the blanket.
"This morning, I rushed home and changed, then grabbed everything I needed."
"Wow."
She smiled and kissed his lips.
"I made sure Gina knew I would leave today for your birthday, plus I didn't want any trouble before the wedding."
"Your amazing."
She smiled and leaned into him.
"I thought I was going to be alone today."
"Never."
He smiled and kissed her head.

Later that day Friends and family came over to celebrate Kate's 20th birthday.
They partied and celebrated till mid night.
"Thanks for coming guys!"
Kate yelled as they left. It was just Rick left,
"Well I will you see at campus tomorrow."
"Alright."
She smiled and kissed him.

"WOW!"
Lanie squealed as Kate walked out in her mother's white dress.
"How do I look?"

Kate smiled and looked at herself in the mirror.
"Katie you look amazing."
"Thanks mom."
