Chap 19-
Kate felt movement in the bed.
She opened her eyes and looked at the clock on the nightstand.
It read 3:30 A.M. ! Had he been writing that long?!
"Rick?" She asked sleepily.
"Hey, sorry didn't mean to wake you.
" "S'fine." She murmured, only half awake.
"I was so deep into writing I didn't realize what time it was."
Rick said as he slip under the covers.
Kate quickly scooted to him and laid her head on his warm chest.
He kissed her head and switched the light off before falling into a world of sleep.
{- Blood, why did she smell blood?!
Kate walked around the room, it was smeared in blood.
Rick's blood! It was taunting her!
She couldn't breathe!
"Hello Kate." The figure said.
"Who are you!" She screamed.
The figure stepped out.
"Rick?!" She choked.
"W..what are you doing!"
"Killing you."
He smirked and cocked back the gun.
*BOOM*.
Kate screamed and sat up in the bed, waking Rick up also.
She was sweating hard.
She hadn't told Rick about the nightmares, ever since the accident she would have nightmares every now and then.
Now she couldn't hide them from him.
She was shaking and had her arms around her protectively.
"Kate?" Rick asked again, gentle.
"Get away!" She yelled.
Still thinking she was dreaming.
"Do it!"
"What?"
"Do it! Kill me! Just shoot!" "Kate."
Rick shook her and rubbed her arm.
"It's okay love, just open your eyes, you're alright."
"R..Rick." She whispered.
"Yea baby."
She opened her eyes and cried.
"I thought you killed me."
"W..what?" He choked out, horrified.
"In the dream you didn't love me and you k..killed me." She sobbed.
