S-Class Dragon Slayer

Chapter 17

They busted through some doors into a room. In the room were two stood up stone tables that looked like they were used to hold people. They both had dragon designs on it, and sitting against them were an unconscious Wendy and Natsu.

"Natsu!" Lucy worriedly yelled.

"Wendy!" Carla yelled.

"Are you alright? Come on. Say something," Gray said holding Wendy up a bit as he crouched down next to her. Lucy did the same with Natsu.

"Hey, can you hear me?" Lucy asked.

"She's out cold. I can't wake her up!"

"Yeah, so is he."

"I'm sorry, Wendy!" Carla cried leaning her head on Wendy's chest. "Forgive me!"

"Hey! This is no time to be sleepin' on the job!" Gray yelled, shaking Natsu. "Wake up already, you lazy pyromaniac!"

"Jeez, you don't have to be so rough with him, Gray!" Lucy yelled.

"I guess we might as well feed them some X-Balls while they're out," he said as he stopped shaking Natsu. "Come on. Open your mouth, you loser."

"What are those?" Lucy asked confused as Gray held up the vile.

"They're magic pills that Gajeel and Selena told us to take. Didn't Mystogan give you one whenever you ran into him?"

"That's what it was? I was wondering what he popped in my mouth."

"It's a good thing you took one cause you can't use your magic in this world without it."

"I had no idea." Gray dropped one into Natsu's mouth. As soon as he swallowed it, he fell to the ground in a coughing fit. "Natsu!"

"Okay. Now let's give one to Wendy."

"Are you feeling better?" Lucy asked and Natsu punched the ground in anger, his fist coating in fire.

"Yeah, but we gotta hurry and stop 'em."

"Stop who?" Natsu let out a roar and Selena sweat dropped as he got up and ran out of the room in the direction of the two Erzas. "Natsu!"

"Hey! Come back here!" Gray yelled. They heard more coughing and looked over at Wendy. 

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.

"Are you okay?" Gray and Selena worriedly asked.

"Oh hey, Carla..." Wendy said.

"Are you hurt?" Carla worriedly asked.

"No, I'm fine, but...the others are in trouble." Their eyes widened a bit confused but alarmed. "It's horrible. The royal army... They're gonna destroy Extalia by crashing the Lacrima directly into it!" They're eyes widened in shock and horror. "All of our friends in Fairy Tail are in danger because the king of Edolas is gonna use them as a bomb!"

"I don't know if you noticed, but Edolas has islands that float in the sky," Lucy informed. "There's a bunch of them. Apparently Extalia's magic power is what keeps them afloat. What's more, the book I read says it's what maintains the magical balance in this entire world."

"And you think that our guild mates might be stuck on one of those floating islands," Gray stated.

"Yes. They're on one very close to Extalia," Carla informed sadly. "Both Extalia and the Lacrima containing our friends are floating in the skies above the royal city which is where we are now."

"The royal army is planning to hit that floating islands with a bunch of Dragon Slayer magic. They wanna speed it up so it'll crash directly into Extalia," Wendy informed frantically.
