Chapter 26

As Hades lie defeated, the sun seeped out on the horizon as they all smiled in triumph. Natsu dropped to his knees with a sigh. "We did it, gramps. We showed him who's boss. We put everything on the line, and we showed him the power of our guild. YEAH!!! Fairy Tail is the greatest!"

The sun, now fully shining down on them, they all stayed sitting down. Selena was laid next to Laxus. Her magic was still extremely low and she was still passed out.

"I'm glad that's over," Gray said with relief.

"Yeah," Erza agreed as she requipped back into her normal attire.

"So I guess this means we won, huh?" Wendy said happily.

"Here. You might want this," Lucy said holding Natsu's scarf out to him.

"It is a little chilly," he replied grinning at her and Wendy laughed.

"AHH!" Happy yelled.

"Please, help us!" Carla yelled running towards them.

"You gotta save me, Natsu!" Happy yelled while crying.

"What is it now?!" Natsu groaned.

"Who's that behind them?" Lucy asked as masked men ran after Lily, Emma, Carla, and Happy.

"Talk about bad timing," Gray commented.

"Oh no. I'm completely drained of magic power right now," Erza said.

"Me too," Wendy said.

"I'm afraid that I don't have any power left either," Lily informed.

"Neither do I," Emma said. Footsteps echoed behind them and everyone turned to see Makarov and everyone else.

"Stay right where you are!" Makarov yelled.

"Hey, gramps!" Natsu said happily smiling at him.

"Everyone's here!" Lucy said with relief.

"Master's better and so is Gajeel!" Wendy exclaimed.

"Good to see you guys!" Gray said.

"Indeed. The Tenrou Tree has returned to normal and so has its blessing," Erza said smiling fondly. 

"I order you to get off this island immediately!" Makarov shouted and they all took off running. Everyone cheered. Laxus turned his eyes onto the unconscious Selena. As everyone cheered, Makarov walked over to Laxus. He looked at Laxus and Laxus turned away. "I'm proud of you for coming back... Is that what you're expecting me to say?! How dare you set foot on Tenrou Island after I kicked you out of the guild! What were you thinking?! You're still expelled, you know!"

"Jeez. You're gonna have a heart attack, old man," Laxus replied.

"Please, try to calm down, Master," Levy said as Lily appeared.

"That's a big head," he commented. Levy tried calming Makarov down just as the Thunder Legion noticed Laxus. They tackled him in a hug.

"You've come back to us!" Bickslow yelled in tears.

"We thought we'd never see you again!" Evergreen cried.

"Get off! And watch out for Selena!" Laxus snapped, annoyed.

"Selena?" Bickslow asked and looked at Selena. His eyes widened. "What in the hell happened? It feels like she has no magic power at all!"

"Well, she battled a girl named Raven who was stronger than the Seven Kin, then she faced Bluenote, someone who's apparently stronger than the Raven girl. And she just finished facing off against Hades. I'm surprised she was able to last long in the fight with Hades," Laxus said and smiled down at her. "She sure has become stronger." Freed and Evergreen helped Laxus up as Bickslow picked up the unconscious Selena. They all started to head back to base camp.
