Chapter 28

After three months, Selena and Emma headed back to Fairy Tail. They waved good bye to the Dragon Storm guild. They headed back to Fairy Tail with Emma carrying Selena.

"I feel a lot stronger now," Selena said and Emma nodded.

"Same here, but not as strong as I want to be."

"Yeah. I want to be able to defeat Acnologia if we ever face him again."

"I've been learning support magic just to be able to help."

"Isn't support magic what Wendy uses?"

"This is different. Mine is Ice Dragon Slayer magic. Riley started teaching it to me since I'm already really good with wind and air magic."

"That's great!" They landed in front of the guild hall and entered.

"Ah, Selena. You made it," Makarov said with Gajeel, Laxus, Juvia, and Mira in front of him. "Juvia, Selena will be the one participating in the Games. You'll be a reserved member." This news earned Selena a glare from Juvia. Makarov started explaining to them about the Games.

"Are you kidding me?!" Gajeel snapped. "I don't want anything to do with that big, stupid freak show!"

"Well, I don't have any objection," Laxus said nonchalantly. "But getting put on the B Team is kind of insulting though."

"Laxus has a point," Selena replied with a sigh.

"Then what if I sweeten the deal? Yes, the members of winning team get to do whatever they want to the losing team for one entire day."

"That sounds to me like it's more of a punishment game for the ones on the bottom," Lily said.

"Gramps has been known for his punishment game," Emma replied.

"Whatever we want, huh?" Laxus asked interested.

"Oh, so now you're interested!" she exclaimed flicking his forehead.

"And you're not, pipsqueak?" he asked and she huffed.

"I am not a pipsqueak!"

"You're shorter than me so yes you are." She punched his arm hard.

"What kind of relationship do you two have?" Gajeel asked.

"What do you mean?" they both asked confused.

"This is how Laxus and Selena always are," Mira replied.

"Anyway, one whole day?" Gajeel asked as he thought about who he was gonna pick.

"That could be pretty sweet," Mira said thinking of who she was gonna pick.

"Now that I think about it, it does sound great," Selena said with a devious smirk on her face.

"Anything that we want? Oh my," Juvia said as she thought of Gray.

"I feel sorry for Gray," Selena muttered and Laxus nodded in agreement.

"Love rival!" Juvia said glaring at her and she sweat dropped. That's when an idea came to mind and the devious smirk returned to Selena's face.

"Uh oh. I know that look," Laxus said.

"Juvia, it's not much of being a love rival if I already have Gray," Selena said.

"Oh my," Mira said.

"What the hell is Selena trying to do?" Gajeel asked.

"Well, usually when someone gets on her nerves and continues accusing her of things, she plays with their minds. I feel sorry for whoever she does it to because they're never the same," Laxus said.
