Chapter 25

Selena panted for breath as Laxus fell onto his knee. "Well, look what we have here. I knew you were full of bravado but didn't expect you to fall to your knees so soon," Hades said.

"Laxus!" Natsu yelled. 

"Come on. Please get up," Erza said as Selena started feeling her magic was nearly gone. She fell to both of her knees a little bit away from Laxus. Laxus chuckled.

"I've traveled almost everywhere. All over this world of ours. But this is the first time I've ever met such a monster. I've got a long a way to go," he said with a small smile on his face.

"What are you saying?!" Natsu yelled. 

"You've gotta pull yourself together, man!" Gray yelled.

"Selena. Do you think you can do it?" he whispered and Selena realized what he was talking about and nodded.

"I'm glad I could help you come to that realization. Laxus was it? But this is the end." A ring of darkness formed into a ball. "Prepare to die!" It shot out like a stream at them and Laxus blasted Selena with some of his lightning to push her out of the way. 

"I realize, I'm not a member of Fairy Tail anymore," Laxus said punching the ground.

"Look out!" Lucy shouted. 

"Move or it's gonna hit you!" Wendy yelled.

"Laxus!" Gray screamed as Laxus stayed quiet.

"But this bastard took out my grandpa. So I'm allowed to take revenge, right?" Selena's eyes widened.

"Yeah! Of course you are!" Natsu yelled and Laxus smiled as he lit up with lightning.

"NO! Laxus, you don't plan on-" Selena was cut off as Laxus transferred his power to Natsu just as the attack hit him dead on. Everyone was thrown back and Selena hit the wall. She got up and growled as she watched Laxus fall into the hole that was made by the attack, his clothes torn to shreds leaving the right side of his chest exposed.

"This one's my treat, Natsu..." Laxus said as Natsu lit up with lightning.

"Hey... Thanks for the meal," Natsu said standing up.

"An electric charge?" Hades asked.

"I gave him...all my magic power."

"He what?!" Gray asked in shock.

"He transferred his power to Natsu," Erza replied.

"You kiddin' me!"

"Does that mean he ate lightning?" Lucy asked. "If he eats anything other than fire it makes him sick."

"Why did you give it to me? You know that I'm weaker than you," Natsu said.

"It has nothing to do with who's weaker or stronger. He wounded Fairy Tail's master. It's only right that someone with the guild's emblem take him down. Anyone who hurts the guild deserves what's comin' to 'em. It's time for the twin Salamanders to fight again," Laxus said smiling at Natsu and Selena growled as she went into her Lightning Flame Dragon Mode.

"You are such an idiot, Laxus," she said as the irises to her eyes turned red with anger. Natsu ignited in flames and entered the same mode as Selena.

"You're gonna pay for what you've done!" Natsu and Selena warned glaring at Hades. Selena stood next to Natsu as they looked toward Hades. They all gawked at the two. Natsu let out a loud roar and lunged forward. In a flash, his fist slammed into Hades face sending Hades flying back. Selena appeared behind him and slammed her foot down into his stomach. He slammed into the ground and bounced up as he flipped back. He brushed off the flames and was instantly hit with a bolt of lightning afterwards. Natsu kicked him in the side over to Selena who brought her hands together and slammed them together on the top of his head. He smashed into the ground as she spun around and kicked him back over to Natsu. Natsu punched his face into the ground and then sent a wing attack at him. He flew back and Selena kicked him into the ground. Natsu jumped over to Hades as one hand lit up with lightning and the other with fire.
