Chapter 20

They walked into the guild with Lisanna, Mirajane, and Elfman with them. Gasps spread throughout the room when they seen Lisanna. Everyone stared at her in shock. Some were confused as to what happened.

"But I thought we'd lost you," Macao said in shock.

"So, you were alive all along?" Wakaba asked bewildered as she nodded.

"Lisanna!" they all cried as they ran to hug her.

"Keep your filthy paws off of her!" Elfman yelled punching them all away and Selena laughed.

"I think they're just happy to see her, man," Natsu said.

"Yeah, chill out," Happy said.

"Oh, my goodness," Mira said smiling.

"It's such a relief to see the guild back to how it was before," Lucy said smiling.

"Yeah, no joke. And it seems like they have no idea about the Anima stuff," Gray replied.

"I'm just glad to see they're safe and sound," Erza said sounding relieved.

"Pretty crazy, ain't it?" Gajeel asked.

"So this is what it's like to be in a guild," Lily said as Makarov approached the group.

"Lisanna," he said a bit surprised.

"Master!"

"I was so worried. I consider those who've been raised by this guild my own children. Every parent worries about their children. And every parent has faith in their children. You can fill me in on the rest of the details another time. Same for the rest of you."

"Sure thing, gramps," Selena replied smiling at him.

"Today we'll celebrate your turn to Fairy Tail!" 

"Oh, thank you. I just can't believe it. I've come home, and I'll never leave again," Lisanna said, tears in her eyes.

"You can, my child. For no matter where you go, this will always be home. Welcome back, Lisanna dear."

"Welcome back, Lisanna!" everyone else yelled.

"Thank you, master!" She tackled him in a hug.

"Ahh! She tackled him!" Lucy exclaimed and Selena laughed.

"Be careful, the master's fragile!" Wendy said.

Everyone started partying. It was Lisanna's welcome home party. Selena sat at the bar and pulled out the letter Mystogan told Lily to give her. She opened the envelop and pulled out a paper. Just as she unfolded it, a picture fell out. It was a picture of her, Mystogan, and Emma eating ice cream. She smiled at it as she put it up. She then looked at the letter and started reading it.

Dear Selena,

I know this is sudden and I won't have much time to talk with you, so I wrote this letter instead. I originally planned on having Lily kill me. If that doesn't work out, then I'll end up staying in Edolas. I'll cherish the jobs we went on and the battles we fought together. I didn't expect to be part of a team with anyone until you and Emma resisted my sleeping magic and asked if we could form a team. I know you originally did it to become stronger, but the times we spent together were fun. I was able to tell you both everything about Edolas and the Anima. I actually had people to talk to. You're strong, so I know you'll be just fine without me there. Everyone in Fairy Tail is there with you as well, but I, for some reason, can't help but worry. You can be reckless at times, and you're pretty good at destroying things. But it was those times that we laughed the most.
