Back in Earthland, the rain poured down on the group of Fairies that have made it back. They landed on the outskirts of the town Magnolia. They fell from the sky and landed on each other.

"We're back, everybody!" Natsu loudly cheered. They looked at Magnolia in shock and relief. "Haha! Everything's back to normal!"

"There's Magnolia!" Lucy exclaimed.

"We did it!" Happy cheered.

"Wait, let's not get ahead of ourselves," Erza replied. "We shouldn't celebrate until we know everybody's okay."

"They're just fine," a voice from above said and they all looked up and their eyes widened and the gaped at the Exceeds. "We got here a while ago, so we went and checked on 'em for ya."

"We decided to fly through town real quick."

"Your friends and everyone in town are doing great!"

"When we talked to them, they didn't even know they'd been turned into a Lacrima."

"Earthland is totally awesome, you guys! Its got tons of magic power."

"What are they doing here?! It's not right!" Carla snapped. "Exceeds don't belong in Earthland!" Selena sweat dropped. "We cannot allow them to stay here! They're far too dangerous. They should return to Edolas!"

"Be nice..." Happy said trying to calm her down.

"Their homeland's gone so they have nowhere to go. I think that we should forgive them," Wendy said softly.

"Never."

"We apologize for throwing rocks at you, ladies."

"We're really sorry."

"We have no place to go now that Extalia's been destroyed."

"We promise that we'll be nicer to you now."

"Please say you'll forgive us."

"This has nothing to do with you kids!" Carla snapped. "It's her! I'm angry because Extalia's queen and her lackeys sent me to Earthland on a mission to kill the Dragon Slayers!"

"I know!" Lucky, Happy's dad yelled. "The queen ordered us to give up all our eggs! How could she be so heartless?! Gah!" A blue cat walked out from behind a tree and Selena crouched down next to Emma.

"I think those might be Happy's parents," she whispered and Emma nodded in agreement because of the similarities.

"Hey there, mister," Happy greeted.

"Yeah, no joke! She never even told us why, did she?" one of the Exceeds said.

"I can assure that she had a most honorable reason to do so," one of the elders replied.

"I remember the moment vividly. It was six years ago," another elder said.

"As I mentioned before, queen Shagotte has the ability to glimpse into the future. It is both a gift and a curse. One day, she predicted that Extalia would fall. We now realize Extalia was bound to fall through natural means due to the exhaustion of magic power. However, at the time, we believed our homeland would be destroyed by the humans. She decided to save the children."

"Save them?!" Lucky asked shocked.

"You don't mean..." Marl trailed off in bewilderment.

"What the... Wait a minute. That's a way different story than the one we were told," Happy replied confused. "You aren't lying to us, are ya?"

"No, young man. To prevent panic among the Extalians, we carried out our plan without their knowledge. The queen then issued out a false proclamation. It was merely a cover up for our plan. We felt horrible about making the queen lie to you like that."
