Nico's POV

Nico was having a peaceful evening when suddenly someone knocked on his door. He groaned and got up from the couch. He walked into the hallway and looked through the peek-through (I have actually no idea how you call those things). A sky blue eye looked from the other side and Nico backed away surprised. He groaned when he finally understood what was happening and opened the door. Jason looked down at him and smirked.
'Put on a jacket and some shoes. We're going out.' He said.
'What? Now I'm over Jackson you thought you could ask me out?' Nico spat.
'No.' Jason answered. 'I may be bi but that doesn't have to mean I like you. I love Piper and that's that. But get ready, I've found a coffee shop near. I heard that their coffee is amazing.'
Nico hesitated. Should he go? He did like good coffee...
'Fine.' He said and got into his black leather jacket and his black converses. He was already in a black skull T-shirt and black skinny jeans. He put his wallet, keys and phone in his pockets after he locked the door. Jason grinned and walked to the stairs. Nico rolled his eyes and took the elevator. He was downstairs at the same time as Jason. They quietly walked out. Jason led Nico through many streets and they ended up in an alley.
'Café The Underworld.' Nico read out loud. He smirked. 'I like it.'
'Want to see the inside?' Jason said, happy to see Nico smirk.
'Why not?' Nico said and opened the door. They walked in.
Nico liked what he saw. Black walls, floors, ceilings. Soft candle light at every table. A small stage at the other side. Jason and Nico sat down at one of the tables not too far from the stage. They examined the different kinds of coffee and the small deserts next to it. A minute later a girl walked towards them.
'Can I take your order?' She asked. Her voice was familiar to both boys. Nico was the first to recognise her.
'Hazel?' He asked. The dark tanned girl with brown hair examined Nico and gasped.
'Nico! What a surprise!' She squealed and hugged her half brother. It had been a long time since they saw each other.
'What are you doing here?' Jason asked.
'I got a job here. But how about we talk later? We close in an hour.'
'Sure, we can go to my house. It's not that far.' Nico said.
'Hazel! Less talking, more working!' A voice yelled behind her.
'Sorry!' Hazel yelled back. She looked back at the two boys. 'Let me surprise you with the best coffee you will ever taste. And the desert will be from me.' She said.
'No need to, Haze. I will just pay.' Jason said.
'I insist!' Hazel said and walked away. After a few minutes she came back. She place the cups and small plates on the small table in front of the boys.
'Two espressos and two apple pies, from me.' She smiled.
'You didn't have to!' Jason said.
'Take it!' Hazel snapped. Then she smiled again. 'There is a small show in a minute. Our musician is taking a small break. You should listen to the boy, he can play like an angel.'
'Sure thing, Little Gem.' Nico smiled. Hazel smiled and skipped away to take orders from others. Nico took a sip from the espresso and moaned silently when hot liquid streamed down his throat. It was delicious.
'You're welcome.' Jason said. Nico nodded as thanks and took another sip. Then the light on the stage went on and a blond boy went up with an acoustic guitar. Nico couldn't take his eyes from him.
He sat down at the high stool and tapped softly on the microphone to check if it was on. When he noticed it wasn't, he put it on.
'Hello?' He said testing the microphone. He smiled when his voice could be heard in the whole room.
'Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Café The Underworld. I'm Will Solace and I will play for you tonight. I won't talk too long now and bore you, so enjoy your coffee and the evening.' He said. He softly coughed and started to play.
