So if a person dies, they turn into a zombie or a villager. But what happens when a villager dies? Do they disappear completely? Or do they turn into something else?

When a villager dies, like humans, they turn into a zombie. Naturally, it will be a villager zombie.

Usually villagers die as a result of people entering their villages, and ending up dying from fires, creepers, manslaughter, anything. You wouldn't believe how many players kill villagers out of anger.

However, sometimes villagers survive. Somehow they live after a terrible fire, or they manage to hide from furious people.

But then those villagers are homeless. They have no idea what to do. They must change or die.

So they try as hard as they can. They try all sorts of things. Most die, yet some survive. Those who survive are the ones who have managed to construct a shelter, fight off the monsters, and live against all odds.

How do villagers do this, though? Well, the ones who survive are different from other villagers. They can use magic.

They use magic to make another house. They use magic to attack the mobs. However, villagers' bodies are not meant to use magic. This means their bodies change, corrupted by the magic, so they become one of us - a witch.

We're hostile for a reason. It's hard enough to lose one home. It would be even worse to lose another. So, to avoid that, we have to stay alert at all times. Even the slightest threat must be destroyed, including humans.

There's an assumption that all witches are female. I myself am a male witch, so that statement is definitely wrong.

Female witches are stronger, though, but I am still a very strong witch. If you try to fight me, you will almost certainly die. An aggressive witch is not something you want to encounter.

So what happens when a witch dies? That's it. That's the end. Dissolving into code, never to be seen again. But with any luck, that will never happen. As long as you humans keep away.
