Disclaimer: Notch is not evil (as far as I know). Neither is he power-hungry, greedy, selfish etc. He created a great game and I love him. This is a work of fiction and is not supposed to be a way of hating on anyone involved. Love and peace, everyone.
Two sides to me. One natural, one artificial. I am the pure side, the self, the side that causes no harm, the side that should be more powerful. But alas, it cannot be so. Although I was here first, although I am the one who owns this body, I cannot control myself when the player takes over.
So what if this body isn't mine? There are two types of people in this world - those who rule and those who are ruled. I can't help it if I'm too powerful for this weak little body. If the self can't control me, there's no point in complaining. It's his own fault.
When the player takes over, I can still see everything, though. Hear everything. I feel the pain, when the mobs have no choice but to attack me. I hear their unearthly cries as my hand, wielding a deadly sword, ends their innocent lives. And you know what the worst thing about it is? I can't do anything about it.
It's only natural for me to harm. I can't help it. I need to grow more powerful, stronger. But I can't do that without the 'help' of the mobs. How can I make a bow without killing spiders? How can I make arrows without killing chickens? If I want to mine, I want to be able to use TNT, which I can only get by kiling creepers. And with the redstone I've mined, I want to make sticky pistons to create secret entrances, so I need to kill slimes. I have to kill mobs to get stronger and survive.
All these things are completely unnecessary! Why does the player need to get stronger? Is it because the mobs will attack otherwise? They only attack because they see the player as a threat. I know all about the enderdragon and how he orders the mobs to kill us, but he's only killing us because we've done the same to him a thousand times over. So ultimately, it's only our fault that the mobs attack us. If the players hadn't started killing mobs, we would still be living in peace.
Peace is just another word for weak. If we were still living in peace, we'd never get anywhere. The most important thing in this world is power. It was only a matter of time before someone tried to take control. And Notch did that before anyone else had an opportunity to. He was the only one who wasn't blind to the fact we were helpless. So he pushed everyone else aside, and became all-powerful.
Pushing everyone aside? That's just plain inconsiderate. Every life is important, even the player's. Nobody should be living unhappily. I know what Notch did. He didn't care for anyone, no mob, no human, not even his brother. He was happy to sacrifice others for his own power, and although he is happy, there are millions upon millions of humans who are not.
And look what happened to Notch. He's now sitting pretty in fame and happiness. Nothing good can be achieved if you always look out for others. Sometimes you just need to sacrifice a few humans to create something truly amazing. Look at all the players who are happy with this. Not everyone in this world can be happy.
That's not true! All we had to do was remain allies with the mobs. What reason would they have to break that alliance? We didn't have a reason. Notch was just greedy and selfish, hungry for power. The mobs wouldn't do that to us, because they actually care.
As if. It was bound to happen sooner or later, whether by mob or human. But there's no use dwelling on the past. Now, the players are powerful and are the better half of the humans, and there's no way to change that.
Although there isn't a way at the moment, who says there won't be a way in the future? Our world is constantly changing, and maybe one day, Notch will realise what he's done, and invent some sort of way to restore peace in the world, and we would no longer have to kill the mobs.
Right now, the only way mobs wouldn't be killed would be if the game is played on peaceful, even though the game is actually the opposite of that when peaceful is played. It works by killing off every single mob as soon as it spawns. Not as peaceful as some might think, hey?
I said that there'd be a way in the future. For example, a way to take out all the chips from the mobs' heads. Or a way to travel back in time and undo Notch's doings. I don't know how it would happen, but there must be a way.
If we didn't kill the mobs, how would we make things?
Want a bow? Cut down some cobwebs. Arrows? Pluck a feather from a chicken to craft one. As for things like TNT and sticky pistons, are those really necessary? There's a way for everything.
You can't pluck a chicken in Minecraft.
Notch might add that too. Our world is in his control now. And if he ever starts to care, he would see the mobs' unhappiness and show that it is possible to become powerful without hurting others.
Always caring about others. Why is it so important to care for others? It makes me sick. In this world where you have to fight to survive, you can't get through 'caring for others'.
But the player isn't the one fighting to survive. The players don't have to worry about losing their lives forever. They have a life behind the screen, and they're too cowardly to enter the Minecraft world themselves. If they die, it's fine, they can just find another poor, innocent human to control. When we die, it's the end.
Ever heard of survival of the fittest? The ones who are the most well adapted are the ones who survive. We have the advantage of having far longer lives than foolish humans. In the end, it doesn't matter how many humans have to die, as long as we survive. It's only nature choosing the powerful one.
I can't believe it. You'd be happy killing me?
Well, yes. I would.
Just like the rest of them. Can't you be nice? Can't we be friends? Isn't it sad that this is how it all ends... happily killing others for personal gain. Players make me sick. They wouldn't be saying the same if our roles were switched.
Of course not. But they're not, are they? That's just a stupid dream, a wish. There's no point in hoping for things that are never going to happen. So we can do as we please.
I suppose you're right. Players are superior to humans, after all. It just makes me feel sad, though. Hollow, somehow. What a shame. What a terrible, terrible shame.
One day, the peaceful half of the humans won't exist any more. Us players will take over the bodies of pathetic humans completely. The future looks bright for us.
And meanwhile, we're facing a bleak future. I guess there is no way for mobs and people to coexist. It's all just wishes and hopeful thinking.
