Chapter 18 Happiny the stray pokemon

Before the tirtouga was inside the vacuum ursaring had grabbed the turtle pokemon, skiploom and Ash helped ursaring maintain balance about to fall over extending her body to help her fellow pokemon. Everyone got into the cabin as skiploom used a seed bomb to hit the funnel, it moved to the point that brock could send out his drednaw. The drednaw charged up a water gun as frosmoth sent out a icy wind, the 2 attacks combined as it was slowly making the machine move. Skiploom seeing this had also thrown his strongest attack, a seed bomb that hit the machine, this was enough to cause the machine that team rocket had to blast away, jesse, James and skitty alongside it.

The day was saved as Melanie asked.

"Is everyone alright".

"I just had the wind knocked out of me" ash stated as skiploom immediately treated the new visitors of the day care a lot more friendly.

"This village is well protected with skiploom here".

"Ash don't you agree that skiploom would be a excellent addition to your team".

"Oh yeah would he ever" ash excitedly shouts out.

"I think it'd be best if skiploom went with you, skiploom stayed here to protect the weaker pokemon but this village is to small the flower on his back can't bollosm and he needs to get out of the world now, and I know that you and brock would take good care of it". Melanie hugs skiploom as skiploom seems to be interested in the offer.

She continued to speak "please do me this favor, take skiploom with you on your journey he'll be a good companion".

Samuari questions her "who will protect this village when he's gone".

Brock also put his imput "Yeah, who'll be there to make sure your safe".

Before Melanie could speak ursaring stood straight up, announcing that she would with a confident roar.

"Ursaring has my back, and I'm sure all the rest of the pokemon can rely on each other, skiploom is a good guardian, maybe to good, skiploom makes sure each of his friends are safe to the point that it could stunt the growth of".

Skiploom would looks at Melanie speaking to her in poke talk she understood him just with the amount of time they've spent with each other.

"What did he say" ash questioned as she answered.

"Skiploom will join one condition it wants to battle you in a pokemon match".

Ash jumps to the opportunity. "If I match is what he wants a match is what he'll get".

Hawlucha stands as skiploom perpares, the match starts with skiploom sending various seed bombs that hawlucha was able to dodge. Missing skiploom attempted to use seed bombs once again just to create distance but with ash's help hawlucha was able to dodge each blow. Managing to get close hawlucha did a wing attack but skiploom managed to counter the attack just with his head.

Stronger than hawlucha had though he was, skiploom performed seed bomb once again this time hitting the flying type in the chest. Sending hawlucha on the ground hawlucha managed to get up, skiploom shoots out spores that tried to paralyse hawlucha but ash having experience with this technique so got hawlucha to close her eyes and mouth. Her natural feathers prevented the spores in being absorbed by her skin as she was able to prevent being paralysed.

Skiploom under the impression that she was had send out a seed bomb that was deflected by hawlucha using wing attack, hawlucha got close and ash thinking of s good idea had gotten hawlucha to throw the spores on her arms from getting attacked by the stun spore right into skiploom face. Skiploom not knowing what hawlucha was doing had accidenly inhaled some of his own spores,although it was greatly reduced effect he was still effected long enough for hawlucha to deliver a wing attack. Hitting the skiploom spat out saliva as hawlucha went into for another attack hitting again.
