Chapter 16 Giselle vs Ash

Gholdengo personality changes as soon as the battle begins, it turns serious rather than friendly as frosmoth perpares for whatever the ghost type could throw. Although frosmoth tried taking the first move ash insisting to show a power move Gholdengo was able to react first its quick movements surprising the 2 as it slivers next to frosmoth at blindly speed. Ash only being able to make a slight shadow, only for shadow to appear rather than just a movement but come to life.

The stell, ghost type had looked like it was carrying a ball of shadows as it had flung the attack at frosmoth, frosmoth covered his body with his wings as the shadow ball smashed into his scales. Due to his rigid icy scales he didn't take as much damage as he could have as Gisele ordered the pokemon to do confuse ray not wanting the pokemon to be able to block any of moves. 

Unlucky for frosmoth as it was direct hit, Gholdengo performed a series of hexs as suddenly frosmoth eyes became colourless as the pokemon began to feel dizy.

"Gisele knows what's she doing, plus Gholdengo knowing shadow ball is a estimate to her training capabilities as the level of abiltiy Gholdengo to even know the move is quite high... although i don't expect it wasn't a result of complete hard work but rather the use of a TM". Brock would mumble himself "samuari when you fight her expect her pokemon to pull out Moves that you don't expect with her family being so wealthy I'm sure she was provided with the best trainers that could help her improve her pokemons techniques".

Not wasting anytime Gholdengo threw out another shadow ball at frosmoth the ball of condensed shadows slamming into frosmoth, his natural scales dampened the blow but without being on guard frosmoth was left wounded and out of breathe. The sudden pain he felt wasn't enough to knock him out of his trance still feeling dizy even more so with the loss of bodily control being knocked down to the floor by the opposition pokemon.

Frosmoth could barely hear out ash being so affected by the confuse ray that's still ringing in his head, seeing an opponent however he attempted to use icy wind knowing it was his most power full move, but without good aim and seeing triple Gholdengo was able to easily dodge. Taking her chance giselle ordered Gholdengo to use shadow ball again aiming for the same spot as last time, Ash realizes that around the area frosmoth was hit was a build up of a strange dark mark as the shadow ball once again makes contact with frosmoth.

Frosmoth would be prone on the ground as at this point he'd be knocked out from his confusion, Ash asks.

"Frosmoth can you continue" which in response frosmoth was able to get up.

"Use powder snow" Ash shouts wanting to freeze his opponents pokemon for frosmoth to get more time to recover.

Just like that however Gholdengo was able to dodge diving out of the way just when Gholdengo goes in for a night shade, but with Gholdengo sliding due to the battle field having small bits of ice and snow around it frosmoth barely dodged countering with an icy wind. But like last time Gholdengo was able to dodge, throwing frosmoth wing position off resulting in the icy wind completely missing. Now at an advantage would use a point blank shadow ball, frosmoth wasn't able to move out of the way as the shadow ball propelled frosmoth away from the pokemon.

Before it could do any serious damage however, frosmoth was able to perform a icy wind to reduce some of its impact, the shadow ball goes extremely ball by the time it over powers frosmoths icy wind. By that time frosmoth took hardly any damage now having the battle field completely covered in ice frosmoth used a powder snow. Like the lasts time however Gholdengo weaved the attack using the ice to slide out of the way way, using a shadow ball to destroy the ice beneath its feet it stands projecting the ball of energy towards frosmoth.

Frosmoth narrowly ducks the attack not wanting to get into another clash using powder snow to push himself out of the way making it snow fall down. Ash thinking it was the perfect chance to use icy wind since the snow still falling down will make it a higher chance to freeze the pokemon he orders Frosmoth to use icy wind.
