Chapter 17 Skiploom and the hidden forest

Drednaw would be the first to act doing a head butt, umbreon was hit directly not able to react, umbreon wasn't stunned however as umbreon performed a double edge. The attack managed to inflicf damage onto drednaw but the attack was so powerful umbreon felt the attack in her bones.

Brocks pokemon would be fine with what happened only having a bruised shell from where it hit while umbreon was already looking bad from the battle. Drednaw shell becomes shiny as brock ordered.

"Rock polish". As if drednaw has unlocked some sort of super speed when umbreon was able to get her barrings back she used assurance, but with drednaw increased speed the pokemon was able to completely avoid the attack attempting to counter using a razor shell.

The water/rock types shell emitted this water aura around it as drednaws tries tackling into the umbreon, umbreon was able to use quick attack to drive out the way as the pokemon kicks up her legs to try an throw some dirt into the drednaws eyes. It was successful as drednaw was inflicted by umbreons sand attack, drednaw then used crunch managing to catch up to umbreon wants to the rock Polish brock set up before.

Umbreon barely dodged the dirt in drednaws eye making it difficult to see the umbreon, countering umbreon used confused ray. The ray like attack that projected from umbreon managed to hit as drednaw was now confused, umbreon ready to attack as drednaw was dazed that he couldn't hear brocks orders. Drednaw went in for a bite, but completely over shot biting a pillar instead of the dark type. He ended up cutting the inside of his mouth as umbreon used assurance again, using drednaw confused status to her advantage.

Although drednaw was confused, had sand in his eye and was overall an easy target, his defensive shell was still hard, so tough that umbreon attack just glanced off. Even with the time drednaw couldn't break the confusion he was under as he wildly attacks umbreon using a crunch attack to attempt to grasp his opposition.

Umbreon goes out of the way of his attack, drednaw accidenly slamming his head into the ground as umbreon circles around drednaw. Using assurance again, it barely hits as drednaw recoils in pain which still doesn't break him out of confusion, using a crunch again he once more he strives to take out umbreon, but she dodges.

Countering with another assurance but her attack being deflected, the battle rages on umbreon being tactical using quick attacks to avoid any attacks while using confuse ray. Umbreon was one more clean attack from being knocked out as Gisele uses her pokemons natural small frame to the advantage. Everyone was amazed about this battle it was intense as if drednaw was able to spend a full attack not under confusion the victory was brocks.

A minute into the battle umbreon sent out confuse ray which drednaw barely had enough time to use protect, drednaw then went up and used razor shell. Just like that umbreon was flung and knocked into a wall as the umbreon laid down trying to get up after a few seconds of umbreon not giving up brock declares.
