A couple of months went by...

and we started working together. I gave Dominic the charm of the Dragon to help him with his plans for the world. He wanted to fight against all the bad on earth, saying how he was wronged several times throughout his life. He used to own a big company that Yoshida worked at, which was a secret underground laboratory. He quickly hired thugs that worked in the mafia and became the number one most feared man in the underground world. He became rich and bought many buildings, including one of the labs that was shut down that he used to own. It then became our secret base.

Then, I rememberd a nice memory I had with him before things went bad...

I saw Dominic sitting in the lounge room to the apartment building. He was sitting in a comfy looking chair, reading a book next to a lamp.

I flew over by him.

"Hey Dominic. I was wondering about something." I told him.

He looked up at me, closing his book.

"What is it little one?" He asks.

"I was wondering, why did you save me?" I asked him.

Dominic sighs, and then he sets his book down on a side table that is next to him.

"I used to have a daughter... she, wanted a pet rabbit one day... She really liked bunnies at her age, so we got one. I helped her learn how to take care of it... I guess, I have a soft spot for rabbits." Dominic tells me.

He had a slight smile on his face, thinking back to a fond memory.

My mouth hangs open in awe.

"I couldn't just stand there and let those people do those things to you... I want to make a world that's safe for my daughter to grow up in." Dominic tells me.

He looks up at me, with determination.

I stare at him, letting him finish his story. I feel a bittersweet smile cover my face.

"Thank you, for saving me that night..." I tell him sincerely.

The memory then fades away...

But things began to change. I had only given him one of my charms, because he was the only one that I could trust at the time. Maybe Yoshida at the beginning, but she quickly changed... She started experimenting on things and created new life forms in the lab. Using Doragons new powers to create these creatures. It used to be for good, until, the power started to get to him.

He hired a bodyguard as well. His name was Takeshi. He was by his side at all times. He was even less trustworthy, and even more full of darkness. I tried to plead with Dominic and help steer him in the right direction, but I was slowly losing the battle. They started using their man power to fight more gang members to take out the thugs.

Some more time went by...

I was out with Dominic patrolling the streets, it was a dark rainy night. No one else was outside at the time. I followed floating close behind him. He liked to walk around a lot to make sure nothing bad was happening.

"Is this what you were doing the same night you saved me?" I asked him.

"Yes, I was... Well, not as thoroughly, though. I was on my way home after a long all-nighter at my job at the time." Dominic told me.

We walked past an alley way, it was dark. He glanced over, peering farther down.

"Wait... I think I see something down there." Dominic told me.

He walked down the alley, the rain bouncing off his umbrella.

"Be careful Dominic." I called out.

I followed behind and peaked over his shoulder. He had stopped walking and was looking down at something on the ground. My eyes went wide. It was a teenage boy. Dominic held the umbrella out to cover the boy. He was lying down on his side. The boy had red hair. He had bruises all over his face, along with scratches and wounds. He stared out at nothing in front of him.
