Chuuya shot up from bed. He was drenched in sweat, panting with heart racing. The male clutched at his shirt, trying to regulate his breathing. He closed his eyes as he breathed in and out, slow and steady. This was, unfortunately, a daily occurrence for him. Almost every night, he'd wake up in the exact state he was in just a few minutes ago. He let out a sigh, pulling at his hair before his hands trailed down to his face. After about ten seconds, he left his bed and decided to go for a late-night drive. He didn't care if he was just in shirt and pants. All he wanted right now was to clear his mind and get some fresh air. Grabbing his keys and phone, he left his apartment.

Twirling his keys around as he made his way to his motorbike, Chuuya tried his best to occupy his mind with the thought of work he has to do later that day. It helped...though only for a brief moment before a flash of images passed through his mind. The moment it did, Chuuya gritted his teeth and shook his head. Quickly, he started his bike and revved out of the parking lot. Usually, at times like these, Dazai would casually go up to Chuuya and snuggle up to him like some cat craving for attention. Though, that was back when Dazai was staying-more like self-invited himself to Chuuya's place, when they were still in the Port. Chuuya found it weird at first but slowly got used to the presence of the person he -used to- despise. Now that Dazai wasn't there to comfort him with their warm presence, Chuuya felt lonely again. After years of sleeping alone and without any form of warmth beside him, it felt weird being alone. The last time he was sharing a bed with someone was when he was back in the Sheep, where the younger kids would usually cuddle up with him and give warmth to one another. He didn't know how or why it started but he didn't mind it one bit. As time went by, the Sheep members would sometimes call him "Mama Chuu" or just "Papa".

Thinking back to those times when he was still a member of the Sheep, he smiled softly as he played about with the bracelet he still keeps. Never would he ever throw that out as it was the first gift given to him. Not only that, but it was also a bracelet that held significance of him becoming part of the family. He didn't realize that his phone was out, and his finger was lingering over Shirase's name. Chuuya paused. Sure, him and Shirase are in good terms now but, did he really have the right to call him? Especially at such an ungodly hour of four in the morning? Chuuya sighed and crouched. His hand drooping over as his gaze still fixed at Shirase's name. It was at that moment when his phone rang. That startled him because in all honesty, who would call someone at four in the morning. He looked at the caller ID and cussed under his breath before swiping right.
