FORKS, WASHINGTON: MARCH 2005

"MISSED A SPOT." Astrid stated with a casual lean against Bella's precious truck.

Across the truck bed, with a small unimpressed look on her face, Bella shook her head and dumped her sponge into the water bucket beside her. "You could help you know, since you're so keen to give advice."

Astrid eyed the sponge and laughed, pulling her jacket tighter around her slight frame. The soft Saturday afternoon breeze running through her hair and touching her face with its movement, leaving behind a small chill.

"This is me helping, Bella." Astrid informed the Swan girl, walking around the truck to her side. The blonde girl pointed at a dark stain in the paint job and turned back to her friend. "You missed another spot."

Bella rolled her eyes but preceded to scrub the spot anyways and then flicked a bit a water Astrid's way as a thanks. Astrid shrugged it off and resumed her leaning position against the truck with a huff. It wasn't as if Astrid had anything better to do than hang out with Bella as she washed her truck, so she couldn't complain. Her presence at the Swan residence wasn't entirely by choice anyways, game night at the Swan's was a non-negotiable event in the Hill household, Astrid was here because her mother was here and Christine was here to hang out with Charlie, and his flat screen. Far from being an annoying third wheel to Christine and Charlie's best friend time, Astrid decided outside with Bella was better than inside with them.
