"GET IN THE CAR."
Edward's words were deafening in the dark night, spoken through gritted teeth and emphasised by the slamming of a car door. He moved a liked a creature of fury, stalking towards them as animal would their prey, a fearsome expression upon his beautiful face. Edward's words were a siren call to Bella, jolting her into movement as she ran towards the car. The Swan girl didn't even think twice, just moved as commanded. Astrid stood still as statue, her heart pounding out of her chest and her eyes tracking the other Cullen sibling. Jasper Hale moved silently through the darkness, completely in sync with his brother just few steps ahead of him. Eyes focused on his target; Jasper's body flowed like water rushing into a stream. Nothing would hold the two Cullen's back just as nothing could stop an avalanche cascading down a mountain.
It was terrifying.
It was stunning.
It was so many things that Astrid could not comprehend.
