"Stupid!! Why am I so... Gah!" Dan kicked his pillow into the air.
"Dan? Are you alright?" His mum called from downstairs.
"Yeah I'm fine, just..." Homework... He thought, cringing.
"Just what?"
"Just doing, um, homework," Dan choked out.
"Okay! Make sure to eat lunch and breakfast while I'm out, hon."
Dan heard the door slam as he kicked his pillow again.

Buzz buzz

Dan scrunched his eyes tight and reached for his phone.

Phil: it's okay, homework is the worst.

Phil: actually I don't have any since I just started

Dan typed back his reply with shaky hands.

Dan: you don't want any trust me

Phil: it can't be that bad

Dan: it is

Phil: well I'm not taking law so I'll just have to see, I guess

He got me there. Why did I major in law any way?

Phil: if your homework is too hard I can always try and help :)

Fuuuuuuck that is so suggestive! He probably doesn't even know how suggestive that fucking is!
Dan banged his head on his desk.
"How do I reply to that?!?" He said aloud.

Buzz buzz

Tesa: yo can I come over

Thank god Tess will know what to do.

Dan: yeah but don't you have work today?

Tesa: lessons were canceled and I finished my other jazz plus it's 1:30 dan

Dan: oh

Dan: yeah pls come over I am HAVING A CRISIS

Tesa: phil?

Dan groaned. Was it a good thing or a bad thing that she knew him so well?

Dan: just get here

Tesa: it's totally Phil

"No it's not!" Dan yelled at his phone.
He threw it on his bed angrily. I need some food.

After a quick meal of some toast Dan went back up to his room and sulked. And stared at his phone. And sulked.

Buzz buzz

Tesa: I'm here open the door

Dan sprinted down stairs and flung open the door
"What took you so long?" He asked breathlessly.
She pointed to her damp hair.
"I had to change and shower, dummy. So what's up with Phil?" Tesa asked, walking past Dan and into his house.
"Nothing,"
She turned sharply to Dan. "Yeah right! It's totally Phil. You are even blushing, and you never blush! And look at you!"
Dan looked at himself.
"Not literally," she smacked him. "You just seem so much happier. I hate seeing you sad. You're my best friend."
Dan scratched his head awkwardly. "Okay... Tess I gotta tell you some things."
