Brian's POV:

The test went surprisingly well. I guess Zach's was right after all. I studied hard. And I should focus on myself more. He's fine. I should be fine too.

I invited Olivia to lunch right after I finished my test. She was slightly surprised since it was just her and I, but I just needed that female advice, what can I say?

---------------------------------

"And you just took him home?" Olivia asked.

"What the hell was I supposed to do? Ignore him? Being a douchebag?"

"Um, yeah!?"

"Well, I couldn't just ignore the dude, especially not after he called me out for completely ignoring him for months on purpose..."

"I don't know Brian, I think you had a valid reason, the dude is like, obsessed with you, and not even in the cute stalker-y way..."

"The cute stal- you know what? I don't even want to know what you mean by that".

"All I'm saying is, it's completely fine to ignore people and take a step back, especially if you're already in a relationship. Besides, this guy is annoying as fuck. Like how hard is it to get a hint that we just don't like you? You know?" Olivia went off.

"Yeah ok, I understand what you're saying, I just don't think there is any nice way to do it. And I don't want to be the bad guy".

"Well, c'est la vie baby. Now can we stop talking about this loser and talk about what am I going wear to the barbenheimer party?"

"I don't know. Go for a pink dress. Seems fitting for the theme" I replied.

"ugh Brian, don't be such a boring, typical man. It's what everyone expects me to wear!"

"Ok so wear a black one, I guess?"

"Gosh, you're such a man, I should just ask Fred"

"He's also a man..." I glared at her.

"but he knows about fashion. You see, this is the simple difference between growing up with sisters, then brothers" she said and rolled her eyes.

"Hey, I know about fashion too!" I defended myself.

"I don't even think you know the difference between Prada and Miu-Miu. But that's ok. I love you anyway" she said.

I sighed. It's a hopeless argument.

And I do not know the difference between those two brands so...

Olivia insisted on paying the check, as per usual, even though I was the one to invite her. But I wasn't about to argue with her about that either.
