Brian's POV:

About half an hour after the call, Zach was already knocking on my door.

"Hey" I greeted him as I opened the door.

"Hey, what is up?" he smiled nervously.

"I just wanted to talk to you," I said as he followed me to the living room.

"what about?" he asked as we both set on the couch.

"I think I deserve an apology" I simply said.

"from Eric? Definitely, but I'm not talking with him anymore so I can't tell him that..."

"no, I meant I think I deserve an apology from you," I said.

"from me? I didn't do anything Brian, it was all Eric..." Zach sighed.

"Zach, I'm not talking about that stupid attack! I'm talking about everything that happened before it!"

"I'm confused" Zach replied.

"God you're such a moron, I'm talking about way before that, prom night, Zach" I stated.

"oh," he simply replied.

"oh?" I asked.

"well... I don't know what you want me to say" he replied.

"I want an apology. I already said it. You don't think you owe me one?" I asked him.

Zach took a couple of seconds to think about it.

"so you don't think I deserve an apology?" I asked surprised.

He sighed.

"that's not what I said"

"then?" I waited for him to start apologizing.

"I'm not sure we're thinking about the same type of apology," he said.

"same type? What the fuck does it even mean?!" I said in anger.

Zach sighed again.

"ok, I'll... start my apology, but you have to wait till the end of it your reply!" Zach said.

"whatever" I rolled my eyes.

"I am... sorry, that prom night wasn't going well for you..." he began to say.

Silence.

"that's it? That's your apology?!" I asked, furious.
