Brian's POV:

"thank you! You're the best!" Zach basically jumped on me.

"you can thank my mother for agreeing... I guess" I tried to calm him down.

"it's going the be an amazing Christmas!" he stated and kissed me.

From my spot, I could see Olivia rolling her eyes.

"what is it, Olivia?" I asked.

"Nothing, I mean how can anyone have an amazing Christmas if it's not involving me?" she said and sighed.

"uh, very easily?" I replied.

"shut up, you wish you could celebrate Christmas with me again this year," she said and gave me an evil look.

"so you could wake us up at 8 AM? No way" I rolled my eyes.

"what Brian means to say is that we would love to celebrate Christmas with you again, but we're very happy we have a chance again to celebrate Christmas with our families, and with each other" Zach jumped in.

"Nah, that's not what I meant but whatever" I chuckled.

"one more word from you and I'm returning your gift!" Olivia threatened.

I returned to eating my lunch.

Because I was hungry.

And also because I wanted to get my gift.

"Aaron, with who are you celebrating Christmas?" Fred asked.

"I'm not. I'm Jewish"

"oh, I'm sorry" Fred apologized.

"it's ok, I'm sorry too" Aaron joked.

"so it's Hanukkah for you, right?" Zach asked.

"mm-hm" Aaron nodded.

"that's awesome! You have that special kind of doughnuts filled with jam inside!" he chirped.

"Yeah, they're delicious, but have an insane number of calories in them..." Aaron added.

"there's no such thing as calories on a holiday" Olivia mentioned.

"easy for you to say, you're naturally skinny," Aaron said.
