Chapter fourteen:

Brian's POV:

"Hey yall! How was your date?" Olivia greeted us as we entered the car.

I had to squeeze myself between Zach and Aaron.

"It wasn't a date" I muttered.

"it was nice" Aaron simply replied as Olivia grinned.

"I thought you said you have a therapy session today and that you're not coming," I turned to Zach.

"yeah, we finished earlier than I expected so I thought I should join. I mean, it's not an issue, right?" Zach asked.

"no, not an issue at all, you're a part of our group and you're always welcomed!" Olivia decided to enter into our conversation.

"Thanks, Olivia" Zach smirked.

"I never said it was an issue, I was just stating a fact. You said you won't show up" I said.

"and my planes got changed so now I did show up. Why are you making such a big deal out of it?" Zach snapped.

"I'm not! I honestly don't care, I just thought it was a little weird seeing you inside the car" I sighed.

Zach mumbled something I couldn't understand and rolled his eyes at me.

"So where are we going exactly?" Fred broke the awkward silence.

"um, I offered to go to a movie. Fred and Olivia didn't mind, how about you guys?" Zach replied.

"yeah, a movie sounds great!" Aaron immediately answered.

I had to glare at him for that,

Didn't he just say earlier he doesn't want to go to a movie?

Aaron just winked at me and smiled.

"Brian, how about you?" Zach shook my knee to get my attention.

"huh? Yeah, whatever you want" was all I said.

"Great! So a movie it is!" Fred said as he pressed the gas paddle all the way down.

We arrived at the familiar movie theater in what felt to me like several seconds.

"so, what do you guys want to watch?" Fred asked.

"umm... 'Ride or Die 6' sounds good" Zach offered.

"We can't. I haven't seen the fifth one yet!" Olivia replied.

"seriously? I told you to complete it like four months ago!" Zach whined.
