Hey guys it's Dred here and it's been awhile. Now this isn't so much as a rant but a realization.
The two fandoms involving horror that I take somewhat of an involvement in are Creepypasta and Five Nights at Freddy's. Over the past I dunno 3-4 months I have drifted away from wattpad and YouTube to the point where I have been only checking my inbox about twice a day and on YouTube I have only been watching a handful of about the 100 people I have subbed to. I go to Vanoss, then Markiplier, then Seananners, then H20Delirous then I go off and do whatever. I'm subscribed to over 100 different channels and that is all I watch? I don't even watch YouTube on a completely daily basis but when I do I only manage those? I have at least a dozen channels I'm subbed to that are dedicated to creepypasta, some dedicated to FNAF.
What really got me was Rebornica one of the most well known fnaf comic writers and in my opinion Rebs was THE BEST quit the fnaf fandom. Now that was a horrible loss to the fandom. Those comics were funny as fuck and when they were over a serious story they were awesome. But now? There is not 1 comic, one video on Rebs channel, and no artwork of FNAF left by Rebs ANYWHERE. I can't even find her wattpad anymore because she changed her name so many times and probably deleted it (some people didn't help being assholes and trolls to poor Rebornica ).
There are 2 things left on her YouTube channel (which is no longer called Rebornica) there is her speed paint of the fnaf family, and then her departure video from the fandom (which is about 15-25 seconds long with flashing clips of her comics and videos she had made). Every single comic, every single video involving FNAF from Rebornica is GONE. I really loved those things *laughs to self* am I going to blame her? No. I would be kind of a hypocrite because I have drifted far from wattpad over the ALMOST 2 years I have been here. August 28th is my 2 year anniversary of wattpad.
But yeah. If you want a Rebornica comic you will have to look at some of the creepypasta channels that voiced them over. DeadJosey is one of them (probably spelled her name wrong).
As for creepypasta well I don't know if it is dying or not but it sure feels like it. It is a much slower rate than FNAF but I have a gut feeling it's losing people.
I am somewhat drifting from fnaf but if Rebornica ever came back I'm on board!
