"I'm sorry," Techno pleaded and Type rolled his eyes at his best friend, the man had been apologizing for an hour.

When Type arrived to his first practice after the anniversary, a hysterical Techno tried to jump into his arms although Type gracefully side stepped so the man just fell to the floor. The team captain was sobbing, making a spectacle of himself and embarrassing Type. "Ai'Type," he cried, calling Type's name over and over again. Type could hear everyone stop what they were doing and mumbling.

'They probably thought I did something to make him cry,' everyone always acted like Techno and Type were in an abusive relationship, where Techno was the victim and Type the abuser.

Type fueled this idea when he smacked the crying man on the back of the head making him cry out in pain. "Get up before I kick you," the older man then proceeded to threaten him. The crying man got up so quickly that Type was sure he got whiplash. "What the hell are you apologizing about?" He demanded more than ask once Techno got up and seemed to calm down but this question just set him off again which made Type sigh in both frustration and exasperation.

"I'm a horrible best friend!" Techno finally exclaimed. The team wasn't even bothering to pretend that they weren't listening, they sent Techno looks of sympathy.

"So?" Type shrug not sure why that was so important. Techno turned to him with wide eyes like a startled puppy. The team winced while some were brave enough to glare at Type for hurting their sensitive captain's feelings.

"You think I'm a horrible best friend?" Techno asked, his voice high-pitched and suddenly offended for some reason.

"You just said you are," Type declared, already done with their conversation.

"Yea but you're not supposed to agree with me!"

"Then I don't agree," the older man just said with a shrug.

"It's not the same now," Techno pouted and crossed his arms. He turned back to the team, just noticing that his dramatics had an audience, "what are you all looking around for, hustle!"

Just like that everyone was back to practicing, Techno pouted and Type ignored it. Instead, he was distracted by texts from Tharn who had been checking in on him the whole day. Type constantly told him off and normally, he hated this but for some reason from his roommate it made him smile. "You are not normally a smiley guy, especially not around this time," Techno whispered, his tone more serious than before.

Type realized what his best friend was talking about; normally around this time, Techno would make a nuisance of himself. The man never left Type alone, no matter how much Type snapped at him. This year, he realized that for the first time since Techno found out about what happened to him when he was a kid, his best friend had not spent this day with him. 'So that's what he's being so weird about.'

"Ai'No," Type called the man's attention but it was his tone that made Techno turn. "You are my best friend, mostly because you force yourself in." Techno let out a sound of indignation as the effect of the sweet words was ruined.

"But also because you didn't give up, you saw the broken pieces and thought it was a puzzle instead of a mess." At this point, Techno's eyes once again began to cloud with tears.

"Ai'Type,"

"This is not going to change because our lives evolve and other people have joined the bubble," Techno smiled at his best friend's surprisingly sweet words. "So stop acting like a jilted housewife, there are already enough rumors about us being in a relationship and me being abusive," Type declared with a scoff that once again ruined the effect of his sweet words.
