3rd Person POV
The dust had barely settled, but the echoes of Ryder's first cries still rang in Tony's ears. He held Layla close, his grip tight around her as she lay exhausted against his chest, their newborn son nestled between them. The mission had been momentarily forgotten, but reality came crashing back the moment Palindrome's voice crackled through the earpiece.
"Tony, we've got a problem. You need to move. Now."
Tony's jaw clenched, his eyes darting between Layla, Ryder, and the door where Echo and the others stood. His family was here—but so was the danger.
Layla stirred, her voice barely above a whisper. "Tony, go. I can handle this."
His heart twisted. Leave her now? After everything? "Not a chance, Wolf," he murmured, pressing a kiss to her damp forehead. "You and Ryder come first."
Echo stepped forward, determination in her eyes. "I'll get her and the baby to safety. You need to finish this, Tony. Cisco, Frostee, follow him."
Layla reached for his hand, her fingers weak but insistent. "I trust you," she said, voice thick with exhaustion. "But come back to us."
He swallowed hard, then nodded. He gently passed Ryder into Echo's waiting arms before pressing one last lingering kiss to Layla's lips. "I'll be back before he even knows I'm gone."
With one final look at his family, Tony turned and ran, Cisco and Frostee close behind. The mission wasn't over yet—but now, he had more to fight for than ever before.
And he wasn't going to lose.

Tony, Cisco, and Frostee moved like ghosts through the darkened corridors of the abandoned warehouse. Their minds were sharp and focused, but deep inside, Tony felt the weight of everything he was leaving behind. Every step forward was a promise—to Layla, to Ryder, to himself—that he would make it back.
"Frostee, talk to me," Tony whispered, pressing his back against a wall as he peered around a corner. Shadows danced under the dim emergency lights, the hum of generators buzzing faintly in the background.
"They've got reinforcements coming in from the east," Frostee replied, scanning his tablet. "Clock's ticking, T."
Tony exhaled sharply. "Figures. Cisco, where's the target?"
"Main control room. North wing," Cisco answered. "We get there fast, we shut this whole thing down before they even know what hit 'em."
"Copy that."
Moving swiftly, the trio weaved through the facility, dodging patrols and using every ounce of their training to stay out of sight. Their bodies ached, exhaustion gnawed at their edges, but their will pushed them forward. Failure wasn't an option. Not now.
As they approached the control room, a sense of unease settled in Tony's gut. Something wasn't right. He paused, listening. Footsteps—too many. A trap?
Before he could react, a voice echoed through the corridor.
"Tony Toretto. I was wondering when you'd show up."
A figure stepped out of the shadows, smug and composed. The sight of her made Tony's blood boil.
DANN.
The cyborg. The cyborg that the team had barely defeated. And now, she stood between Tony and the end of this nightmare.
Cisco stepped up beside Tony, cracking his knuckles. "Tell me we're not just gonna stand here and let her talk."
Frostee smirked. "Yeah, 'cause I've been waiting to wipe that grin off her face."
Tony's fists clenched. "You should've run when you had the chance."
DANN smirked. "And miss this reunion? Not a chance."
Tony knew there was no talking his way out of this. This was it. The final fight.
Back at the safe house, Layla clutched Ryder close, her heart pounding as Echo kept watch. She whispered to her son, her voice a quiet plea.
"Come back to us, Tony."
And somewhere in the darkness, Tony, Cisco, and Frostee fought for the future they refused to lose.
