"Took you long enough" Tony rolled his eyes as the three of you walked in, you were the last ones as everyone else was sat around the table that Tony was stood at the end of.

"Sorry Starky" you tried to hold in a laugh as you sat down.

You'd always called him Starky, either that or 'Dad' - he isn't your dad but he might as well be. Your dad is pretty deadbeat, but Tony has been one of the best role models for you. He's been taking care of you for years now, you give him most the credit for you being alive and where you are today.

Tony looked at you with exasperation. "One word y/n, shush." He says with sass.

You complied and listened to what he had to say, which makes a change.

"Right, we've had some information come in that will allow us to infiltrate an operation that a new group of people are running. Obviously, they're not great people so we do kind of need to take this opportunity to stop them."

"I never would have guessed that Tony" Clint said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Are you seriously telling us we need to stop bad guys from doing bad things?"

"Clint I swear to God"

"Okay! Okay! You may continue"

"Anyway, these people operate in pretty fancy places - high end clubs and bars, that sort of thing. They sell illegal drugs and experimental concoctions to the shitty rich people you find in these type of places. I need two of you to go in undercover and a few of you stationed around the building in case shit goes south."

"Language" Steve says, shooting Tony am apologetic look "Sorry, its a habit"

"Pietro, Nat, Steve, Wanda and Sam, you will be surrounding. I know thats quite a few of you but every time Shield have tried to infiltrate these people, there have always been people managing to escape or something going wrong. These people aren't the type who are afraid to start blowing stuff up if it doesn't go their way so I need you all to be alert."

"Who's going undercover?" Pietro asked.

"Well, since they can finally be in the same room without threatening death upon each other, Bucky and y/n will be going undercover"

You and Bucky shot each other a glance.

"I'll give you both a case file with more details about specifics of your mission, your persona's, how you should act dress and so on. Read them, study them and for the love of God, don't fuck it up"

There were a chorus of agreements before everyone got up to leave. You headed straight for Nat. Before you even said anything she answered. "Yes, I'll come up to your room, we can continue our conversation, which now has the added twist of the mission." Suddenly Steve elbowed her and cleared his throat. "Oh yeah, can Steve come? He's invested in all this, and to be fair he could have some useful input"

"Jesus, you two are like a package deal. Yes, of course he can come." You rolled your eyes, but you were incredibly grateful. For the both of them.
