The gates creak open, and Shixiang steps out into the street beyond. The gates close behind him with a final, resolute clang, sealing him off from his former life. The city streets are quiet at this hour, with only the faint sounds of distant activity echoing through the night.
ANGLE ON: CITY STREET
Shixiang hesitates for a moment, standing alone in the deserted street. The imposing walls of his family's estate rise behind him, a symbol of the life he has just left behind. He takes a deep breath and begins walking.
