EXT. GARDEN ENTRANCE - NIGHT
SHIXIANG steps into the garden through the archway, moving quietly. He is dressed in a simple, dark robe, his hair tied back neatly. His eyes scan the garden, quickly spotting AIYUE near the pond.
He hesitates for a moment, taking in the serene beauty of the scene, before approaching her.
ANGLE ON: AIYUE AND SHIXIANG
AIYUE turns as SHIXIANG approaches, their eyes meeting in the moonlit garden. For a moment, they simply look at each other, the unspoken connection between them growing stronger in the silence.
SHIXIANG
(Softly) "Aiyue."
AIYUE
(With a gentle smile) "Shixiang."
They stand together by the pond, the night air cool and filled with the scent of blooming jasmine. The quiet of the garden is broken only by the soft rustling of leaves and the distant sound of water trickling from a small fountain.
WIDE SHOT: THE GARDEN
The camera captures the two figures standing close to one another, the vastness of the garden surrounding them. It is a place removed from the world, where they can speak freely without fear of being overheard.
SHIXIANG
(Thoughtfully) "This place... it feels like another world. A world far away from the corruption and greed that plague the court."
AIYUE
(Nods) "Indeed. Here, we are free to dream of a better future, free to imagine a China where justice prevails, and the people are truly cared for."
