EXT. GARDEN PATH - NIGHT
AIYUE and SHIXIANG begin to walk slowly along a lantern-lit garden path, away from the noise of the departing guests. The garden is a tranquil space, filled with the scent of night-blooming flowers and the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze.
SHIXIANG
(Walking beside her) "I must confess, Miss Aiyue, that I did not expect to find someone like you here. Someone who sees the world as it truly is."
AIYUE
(Thoughtfully) "Beyond the surface, there's water that covers the most surprising side of humanity. To understand that beauty and power underneath, people must accept first, more often than not, it hides something far more complex... and sometimes, something much darker."
They continue walking, their pace slow, allowing them to fully absorb the serenity of the garden, even as the weight of their conversation lingers.
SHIXIANG
(Slowly, Thoughtful) "Darkness.. It calms and makes people worry. Without darkness, light wouldn't exist. And we can see it, if we are willing to look for it. If we are willing to fight for it."
AIYUE stops, turning to face SHIXIANG, her expression earnest.
AIYUE
(Serious) "Are you, Wang Shixiang, willing to fight for that light, even if it means standing alone at the end?"
SHIXIANG meets her gaze steadily, his resolve clear.
SHIXIANG
(Firmly) "I believe that if people alike stand together, they won't have to stand alone. Not at the beginning, nor at the end."
AIYUE holds his gaze, the silence between them now charged with the unspoken acknowledgment of their shared resolve.
She leans against his body, placing her delicate forehead full of heavy thoughts on his shoulder—a gesture of solidarity and understanding.
AIYUE
(Gently in whispers) "Let us hope, then, that our paths will continue to align."
[FADE OUT]
