Chapter 13: Happiness

Demi's POV

I walk into my room behind Kate wondering why she wanted me back so early, she just said there was something we needed to talk about alone. I look up and stop dead on my tracks.

" Joe! " I scream before running and slamming myself into him, he hurries and squeezes me close to him.

" Demi, I'm so happy to see you. " He says holding me closer to him, I breath heavily not really knowing what to think or say. I look up and grin as big as my mouth will allow it, he looks so handsome and happy.

" I'm so glad to see you too...I thought you weren't coming until tomorrow? " I ask wishing I would of made myself look a little better for him.

" We thought we could surprise you. " He says smiling down at me, I can feel his hands shaking along with mine. I look around and notice Kate was already gone, I guess she wanted to give us privacy.

" Oh my gosh Joe, I can't even describe how happy I am right now. " I say putting my head into his chest, he holds me close safe in his arms.

" I'm so happy to see you too. " He says with his chin on the top of my head, I can feel us both breathing hard in excitement. I look up at him and hurry to touch my lips to his, we both kiss each other hungrily. Not being able to feel his lips against mine in so long has killed me.

He puts his hands on my hips and pulls me close to him, the kiss is wild yet filled with passion. I run my hands up and down his chest and then up to his neck. I feel our tongues start to wrestle making me moan, he pushes me up against the wall gently and kisses right beneath my ear making me close my eyes in pleasure. I pull him closer to me wanting nothing but him.

He leaves kisses down my neck before returning to my mouth, I grab his beanie that's on his head and throw it off so I can run my hands through his hair. He moans and releases our kiss, we're both breathing hard when he does this. He puts his forehead to mine and I pull him close with my arms wrapped around his neck.

" We need to control ourselves for right now. " He says grinning showing off his beautiful white teeth. I lean in and kiss him one more time, then release and stare into his eyes feeling feelings that I can't even describe. Tears swarm in my eyes as I look in his, I can feel his heart beat rapidly in his chest against mine. The glint in his eyes make me moan and that makes him chuckle.

" Demi...you're so breathtaking. " He says making me smile even wider, the tremor in my hands touch the back of his neck gently feeling the smoothness of his skin.

" I've missed you so much Joe. Just seeing you right now makes me..." I say feeling more tears come, the one person I care for so much is actually here. He's really here. I can't even finish my sentence because of the rush I feel of seeing him.

" Don't cry. " He says wiping away the tears with his thumb, the softness of his touch fills me with warmth. The simple contact will forever be engraved in my mind.

" I love you. " I say against his lips, without kissing, our faces are as close as they can be. Nose against nose, lip against lip, forehead against forehead,chest against chest, hips against hips.

" I love you too. More than you'll ever know. " He says breathing deeply as he says it, we sit in silence for a few minutes just staring at each other. I sculpt every detail of his face in my mind never wanting to forget it. A minute later he takes my hands and leads me to the bed setting me down in his lap, I throw my arms once again around his neck.

" How are you doing? I worry about you so much. " He says looking at me with hurt eyes showing me he's serious.

" I've been doing really good lately...I feel happier. " I say knowing it's true, I haven't thought as badly of myself. I feel like I can be normal.
