Chapter 17: Everything is Perfect

Demi's POV

After we ate lunch, we walked back to the car and started to drive to the part of town that has more stores. We walked around the different shops just enjoying each others company, we didn't even go into many shops but just browse the streets. We joked around and held hands the whole way making everything feel right. 

After walking through the shops and streets, it was getting dark and we were getting hungry again. We walked back to the car and stopped at this nice little restaurant along the beach, its themed in a way to make you feel like you're in Hawaii which is cool.

When we we're seated, we started to talk until we the restaurant was almost empty. We then left the restaurant and got in the car to drive back towards the treatment center. We still had an hour until lights out, so at least we don't have to part just yet. 

When we got to the treatment center, we parked Kate's car and then walked in and up to Kate and I's room . We walked in not seeing Kate luckily, I bet she must be in her office or off doing some other work. I walk to the bed and sit and Joe does the same grabbing my hand. 

" I had a great day. " He says making me smile, I'm glad he did.

" Same here. Thank you. " I say looking up at him seeing that he's smiling as well, he throws his arm around me hugging me close. 

" No problem, I sure have missed being with you. " He says kissing the top of my head making me think the same thing. 

" Me too. I'm so happy we get to be together, even if its only for a few days. " I say grinning, i'm gonna sure miss him when he leaves, but it's amazing that he could come. 

" Me too, we're lucky. " He says starting to kiss my neck softly, I chuckle as he kisses underneath my ear tickling me.  

" Maybe I can steal you from here tonight...I miss you in my arms at night. " He whispers making my heart skip a beat. 

" I would be ok with that. " I say smiling knowing that I would be more than just ok with it.

" Good. " He says taking his lips from my neck up to my lips, the touch fills me with energy making me pull him closer. The kiss soon becomes heated and intense, every time we kiss, it seems to become powerful. I wonder when we will ever go the distance, when we were at his grandpa's house before I came here, he made it very clear that he wanted to go there with that little wink.

We both instantly stop when the door opens, Kate raises her eyebrows as she walks in. She then says " Sorry if I'm interrupting things, I need a few papers. "

" That's ok, how was your day? " I ask her running my hand through my hair, she walks over to her desk grabbing a few files.

" Mine was good, nothing new though. How about you guys? What did you do? " She asks smiling looking back at us.

" We went to the beach and just walked around for a while, then went looking around stores, and then we went to this awesome restaurant along the beach. It was really fun. " I say looking over at Joe who's smiling and holding my hand.

 " That sounds like you guys had a good time. " She says smiling looking at us both, we both nod in agreement.

" Yeah, it was great. " Joe says putting his arm around me again.

" Well you guys might want to get ready for bed, it's in a half an hour. I'm going to go down to my office again, I might not be in bed until later tonight so goodnight guys. " She says smiling and walking out the door to her office.

" Well maybe you can get dressed and then we can go to my room, maybe she won't notice you gone for a while. " Joe says grinning, I laugh and get up to get into my pajamas. I go into the closet to change, when I'm changing, I turn around and see Joe watching me.

" Sorry, can't resist. " He says grinning, I smile and look down at myself to see that I only have shorts and a bra on.

" Wanna know something? " He asks with a cute grin on his face with his hands in his pockets.

" Sure, hit me. " I say putting a shirt on over my head.

" I have a hot girlfriend. " He says taking a few steps towards me and taking my hand.

" Oh really? " I say smirking wanting to keep my confidence up, hearing him say it makes me blush.

" Yup, and not only is she just hot. She's the hottest of the hottest. " He says smiling pleased with himself.

" Why thank you. " I say smiling and pecking his lips, he truly does know how to make me feel good inside.

" Anytime for you. Wanna go down to my room now? " He asks standing up straight and leading me out of the closet. I just nod and we walk down the stairs and to his room, when inside, I sit on bed while he goes to the drawer to get dressed. He changes right in front of me making me blush.

When he's done, he lays down in the bed and I lay down next to him letting him put his arms around me. The feeling is amazing, it's been too long since we've done this.

" Now everything's perfect. " He says looking into my eyes with a smile.

" Sure is. " I say pecking his lips again loving the fact that we can be together. That we actually found each other in this world.
