Chapter 29: Wandering Eyes & Radio News

Demi's POV

I wake up the next morning with Joe's arms wrapped tightly around my waist, he's asleep yet he's smiling which makes me chuckle. I kiss his forehead and grab my phone that's on his bed stand that Kate had given back to me. I see that it's seven, everyone else is probably still asleep as well since it's Saturday. 

It's weird being back here, I guess I was just so used to the treatment center that I forgot what it feels like to have a family and home. It feels really good to know that people that love me are surrounding me again. I look over at Joe again and grin, the best feeling though is having him back.

I can't wait to do things with him, just be with him. I can't wait for us to get married and have kids, live a long and happy life with him. I smile thinking of all of the great thoughts of the future, it's going to be amazing.

I start to get up very slowly since I have the need to use the bathroom, I try hard not to wake Joe and it works. I open his bedroom door and walk out into the hallway and down the hall to the bathroom. After i'm done and am washing my hands, I look into the mirror and smile. 

I then start to walk back to Joe's room quietly not wanting to wake anyone. I open Joe's door and see that he's laying in the bed awake. He smiles at me when I walk in and close the door behind me. 

" Sorry if I woke you. " I say walking over to him, he opens up his arms and lets me crawl into them. He then puts the blanket over the both of us and rests his head next to mine. 

" I forgive you. " He says with a chuckle making me smile, he then pushes some of my longer bangs out of the way and leans in to kiss my lips very softly. 

" Did you sleep well? " I ask after we release the kiss, looking up into his beautiful eyes. 

" Very well, how about you? " He replies looking actually well rested. 

" Same, i've missed you at night. " I say snuggling into him more, I feel so much safer with his arms around me.

" Me too, I haven't slept that good since the last time I saw you. " He says with a smile, we sit and talk about what had happened after he left at the treatment center until we heard that everybody else was up. We walked downstairs to find his mom and dad cooking breakfast for everybody, we all settled down and started to eat when the food was ready. Laughter in every conversation made it really enjoyable, Joe's parents want to take us all to a theme park today to celebrate Joe's graduating and my returning. 

Frankie jumped in the air and yelled yes with his fist up when Joe's parents told us making everyone laugh, we all depart to our rooms to change so we can go early. In Joe's bedroom, I have to start unzipping my suit cases to find something to wear. Last night, I didn't feel like going through my suitcases so I wore some of Joe's clothes to bed which are really comfy. 

" Do you need help? " Joe asks sitting down next to me on the ground giving me a wink. 

" I think...i'm okay. " I say finally finding the skirt I was looking for, just before I left, Kate took me out to buy a full new wardrobe since she knows i'm not big on money which was really awesome. So now I have all these new clothes, they're all very cute which is pretty sweet.

Joe smiles and gets back up kissing my cheek along the way, I start to undress out of Joe's clothes he lent me for the night and put on the new outfit. When I'm in my underwear, I turn my head slightly and see Joe staring intensely at me making me laugh. He then winks at me and comes over to me and wraps his arms around my waist from behind.

" Um, hello. " I say with a smirk turning my head to see his face which has a great big grin making me chuckle. 

" Hello beautiful. " He says starting to rub his hands up and down my body. 

" I think you're a little too happy right now. " I say chuckling some more, he just smiles before kissing my shoulder.

" Dammit Demi, you're so hot. " He says releasing his mouth from my shoulder and then to my neck. He then hugs be from behind and then rests his head on my shoulder staring right at me with his goofiest grin yet making me laugh.

" And you're too cute. " I say pecking his lips, he then releases me with a smile and continues to get dressed as do I. 

" Cute huh? I think you mean sexy beast. " he says with a chuckle, I turn around and look him over. He now has his shirt off, he grins while he starts to pose making me laugh.

" Okay, that's what I meant. " I say throwing his pillow at him, we then continue to get dressed so we're not taking too long. The outfit I picked out today is a cute pair of torn up, short, denim shorts that let the pockets come through the bottom and a black rock tee with a turquoise blazer over top. I then rock the style with cute black high heels that have a few spikes on them, and then some cute bracelets and feather clips in my hair. 

I keep my make up simple by just some cover up, black eyeliner and mascara with a little pink blush. When i'm done with getting dressed and putting on my make up, I turn around and see Joe still staring at me making me smile. He's wearing an Adidas white hoodie and some faded fitted jeans with white high tops, he smiles when he sees me looking at him.

" You ready? " he asks getting up from his bed and coming towards me, I nod and grab my purse and his hand with my other hand. We then walk down the stairs and see half the family ready, Nick had called Selena to come with so she's already here. 

While waiting, Selena and I catch up while the boys talk. It's really nice to see her again, I didn't realize how much I missed her. When the rest of Joe's family is ready, we all get in cars and start to drive to this theme park that's a little aways from our town so it takes a little while. Nick and Selena came in Joe's car with us so we jam out to music from the radio laughing and enjoying it the whole time. 

" Wait Demi, turn it up. " Selena says as the radio host starts to talk, I turn it up and we listen to what it's saying.

" Yeah her name is Demi Lovato, her YouTube video has hit a few hundred thousand views in just a few weeks which is pretty amazing. People are thinking she could be the next big thing in the next few years. She just needs to be signed first, which in my opinion, won't be too long from now. She's very talented. " He says making us all have gaped mouths.

The next radio host replies surprising me even more " I totally agree John, i've watched that video quite a few times now and I can't get the song she sings out of my head. I'm singing it every where I go and people actually recognize what i'm singing. She's a true talent and I know everyone will know her name in just a few years. " She says making me squael in the car, when did my video ever get this popular? I haven't been online for a while.

" Do you think we can stream the video so our listeners can hear what we're talking about if they haven't seen the video yet. " The John dude asks making us all gasp, Joe pulls over the car to get a better listen.

" Yes I think we can. " The lady says, a few seconds later, my video's audio starts to play making all of our eyes widen. 

" OMG Demi. " Selena says with a squeal, Joe grins over at me making me grin as well. He then pulls out his phone and dials his mom. 

" Mom, turn on channel 107 in your car now. " He says then hangs up, the rest of us sing in the car and go crazy as it plays. I can't believe this is actually happening. This is so amazing!
