Chapter 51: The Uchiha Prodigy [Shippuden]

Okayyyyyy so here we go! Sorry it took so long. I've been dealing with a lot of things in my personal life and haven't had the chance to really sit down and write :(

But here is chapter 51 finally!!! haha and I'm in the process of writing the next one, so it'll be out shortly :)

Madara (Tobi)

I was aware she wasn't royalty. That even being born to the head of a high clan didn't earn her the title of Princess, Lady maybe but Princess was far fetched. Yet Princess had stuck, having a better ring to it. I referred to her mainly in this matter. I can't remember if I had ever said her name once, maybe when I had first heard of her birth. That name belonged to someone greater, and even the thought of connecting it to the Princess brought a bitter taste to my mouth.

"Tobi, keep up!" Deidara shouted but I continued with the same pace.

"Idiot" I muttered to myself. She walked ahead of me, beside Deidara. Her hands behind her back and small smile on her face as she listened to him, their conversation hidden from me. Deidara made side-glances at her when he got the chance unaware that her heart belonged in Konoha, with a certain masked ninja.

"Kakashi" I spat. That he would try and replace her with that. It made my blood boil.

"We will leave you behind, yeah!" Deidara shouted behind him. I noticed her nervous look as she glanced at him then at me. She was fortunate that he was here; I would not so easily reveal myself to the explosive happy moron.

"We've been walking all day, I'm totally exhausted!" I shouted back, my voice changing pitch as I spoke. I noticed her eyebrow raise as Deidara sighed.

"At this point Rin could move faster with you on her back" He whined and she shoved his arm, even hearing her name from another voice made my anger spark.

"Don't get any ideas" She warned and Deidara chuckled.

"Maybe if Deidara stopped flirting with the Princess we would all move faster" I decided to point out and snickered when his face turned red.

"One more word Tobi and the Akatsuki will lose another member" He replied shortly before speeding off. Rin watched as he walked off and glanced towards me.

"I can't tell if I prefer Tobi or Madara"

"Really" I replied and she nodded.

"Tobi is more annoying than Naruto but Madara well, Madara..." I noticed her flinch when I grabbed her forearm, her eyes fading to a blazing red when she met my gaze.

"Makes you afraid" I finished.

"What did I ever do to make you hate me?" I was taken back by her question and briefly pondered it. I noticed Deidara wandering back and I let go of her arm.

"You were born"

I watched Madara as he wandered off ahead. That still didn't answer my question, at least not how I wanted him too but it did get him away from me for the time being.

"What was that about?" I looked at Deidara and shrugged as I began walking.

"No idea, you know Tobi" I replied and he nodded in agreement as he followed.

"About what he said..."

"It's just because we're getting along, obviously we must be sleeping together" I replied and he laughed awkwardly.
