Now this chapter is mostly fighting as well the next one be but we are also only a few chapters away from the Itachi Pursuit Arc!

Sakura

Focusing on the barrier was easy enough. I had always excelled in chakra control even against Sasuke and Naruto. Hinata's entire kekeigenkai relied heavily on chakra control and of course Shizune was one of Lady Tsunade's students. It was Ino that was struggling. Jazmine may have been the better choice for this mission but she had already been deployed with Shikamaru shortly after we left.

"It's not going to work." Rin taunted. I knew she had Lee and Tenten shaken. I knew she had Hinata, Shizune and Ino shaken as well. I hated to admit it but the sense she gave off sent chills down my spine and after what she did to that man there was voice in my head whispering run.

"I'd like to thank you though, for finding him. It'll be easier to ake him once you've all failed" She continued. I could see her from where I stood.

"Interesting" She said as she turned slightly causing Tenten and Lee to tense.

"Another player has entered the field" Her hand signs were a blur and when she drew her Katana lightning sparked off the blade as she slashed through three shuriken.

"A sealing this important and they've got children watching it, you're kidding me." The woman had come out of no where, and when she raised her hand a blade formed across her forearm.

"The crystal user" Lee breathed and I noticed Rin smirk.

"Guren" She greeted and I notice the woman freeze.

"P-Princess I had no idea..." Rin chuckled as she faced Guren.

"I'm here with the Akatsuki, not that pathetic excuse for a ninja" She interrupted.

"Weren't the others supposed to take care of her?" Tenten spoke to Lee, obviously annoyed as she stared at Guren.

"What, are you going to run home and cry?" Guren shot back.

"Run home" Rin echoed, seeming to mull it over before nodding in agreement.

"I am nothing if not fair; if you do not wish to die here today I suggest you run home. Crying is not necessary." Rin's offer I knew was serious but also not like her. At least not the Rin I knew. She had helped us countless times against the Akatsuki; this had to be some kind of trick, something to get Guren to leave.

"No takers?" She asked as she cracked her neck from side to side.

"Very well" She continued as she lowered her katana letting it dip in the water.

"Let's begin" Lightning sparked off her blade through the water barely missing Tenten and Lee as they jumped aside, I seemed to blink and Rin was gone. Guren turned raising her arms to block Rin's katana but Rin changed hand signs and the lightning faded as dark chakra circled her Katana instead. The blades on Guren's forearm disintegrated the moment they made contact. Guren pushed forward just making enough space so Rin's katana didn't tear through her arm.

"Now it is my turn!" Rin glanced at Tenten, seeming more annoyed than actually threatened. Rin tossed her Katana high in the air, her hand signs a blur as Tenten pulled the scroll off her back.

"Water wall jutsu" The water moved towards the sky blocking Tenten's weapon. I thought Lee had her as he broke through the wall, but Rin blocked his kick and caught his ankle. She turned slamming him into the lake and catching her katana with her other hand. Lee tried to get up but Rin stepped forward slamming her foot into his chest. She held the tip of the Katana against his throat and a smile crept across her features.
