Chapter 30: The Uchiha Prodigy [Shippuden]

Danzo

I was surprised, to say the least, after the little mishap with the Hokage I didn't expect to see her again so soon. I waited for the Anbu to open the door and stepped through feeling the tension in the air the moment I stepped in. I smiled as I saw Kakashi and the young Nara then finally Lady Tsunade.

"You've summoned me" I stated and she nodded motioning for me to move forward. I followed her to the window and stared down my smile growing when I saw her. It was satisfying, to see her in such a predicament.

"We need information that Rin has. You can't lay a finger on her is that understood?" I glanced at Tsunade and nodded.

"Very well follow me." I walked behind her and could feel the glares of the two men so hopelessly in love with the Princess. I almost had to laugh as I walked down the steps, those pathetic fools. It only made them weak. I looked up as the door slid open and stepped inside.

"I hope its Ibiki this time, I haven't seen that guy for ages." She said with a  slight smirk.

"Sorry to disappoint you" I noticed her smirk falter as she turned her head forward to the wall. I walked forward then to stand in front of her.

"It satisfies me greatly to see you like this."

"Please keep your perverted fantasies to yourself Danzo" She spat and I glared down at her.

"Still same disrespectful little brat"

"Glad you remembered" She replied adding a fake smile.

"And still acting so tough and unbreakable" I noted.

"It's not an act" She shot back and I chuckled.  

"I know something you want, something you'd be willing to do anything for." I taunted as I walked closer to her.  

"You have nothing of that value and I doubt you have the power to capture even one of my brothers" She said simply and I chuckled again as I eyed the ring dangling from her neck.

"Actually I do, and it's neither Itachi nor Sasuke. It already here, right in this room" I replied.

"Really and where in this room is it?" I bent down then just enough to lean by her ear as I reached for the necklace.

"Dangling from your neck" I yanked it off then, the clasp of the chain giving way with the force and I managed to step back as she lunged forward.

"Give it back!"

Kakashi

I stared down at Rin as she tried to get to Danzo who merely stared at her a smile on his face. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest and when I glanced at Shikamaru I noticed his knuckles turning white as he clenched his fists.

"I'll kill you!" I looked back at the cell just as a chain gave way, Danzo managed to move back just out of Rin's reach as she gained distance and it took seconds for the Anbu to jump in and hold her back.

"Let me go!" She shouted as they led Danzo from the room. The door slammed shut but her scream made my skin crawl. I could feel my blood boiling as they forced back her head and injected a sedative into her neck. I heard a door open and turned as Danzo stepped into the room.

"What the hell were you thinking!?" I half-shouted and he smiled.

"You wanted results and now you'll get them, why she cares so much for this piece of garbage I don't know and I don't care. The only thing that matters now is the leverage I've provided, you're welcome." He said and I bit my tongue to stop myself from saying something I may have regretted when the heat of anger faded.
