Chapter 69: The Uchiha Prodigy [Shippuden]

*Authors Note: 

There may or may not be a double release today. Just because this chapter is mainly Madara talking about his past and that lasted almost a full episode in the original series so it ended up taking a full chapter as well. 

It is interesting but it also doesn't have much to do Rin and Sasuke, it's just kind the build up to the truth haha. So we shall see!

Madara

I didn't expect Rin to still have the strength to move, but I guess her anger has always been a problem and driving force. Sasuke rubbed his cheek watching as Rin's breathing became shallow. A sedative, enough to keep her docile but still attentive. She needed to hear this, I wanted them both.

"You're not making this easy, but I suppose that's only natural hearing a story like this from a complete stranger. Yet what I'm telling you is the truth, Itachi did mention it didn't he?" I questioned and noticed Sasuke's eyes widen.

"Y-You're the one that kidnapped Rin" I smirked slightly, Itachi's attempts to put a wedge between us by throwing Rin's life in the mix.

"Yes, but I was also with Itachi that night." I started, knowing he knew exactly what I meant.

"I am Madara Uchiha and I know everything there is to know about Itachi, but I suppose he died without realizing that" I admitted.

"Shut up! None of that matters anymore, just get out of my sight you hear me!" He shouted causing Rin to flinch.

"No, you both need to hear this. It's about the life your brother lived and everything he risked for the sake of the shinobi world, the leaf village and above all for the two of you, his younger siblings." I objected.

"Do you know why? Why Itachi planted the Amaterasu in your eye? It's because Itachi never wanted us to meet or to talk. Listen to my tale and you'll understand" I could tell he wanted argue, to fight back but he remained silent. I glanced at Rin who was glaring at the ceiling. I knew I had her attention as well.

"The only ones who knew the truth about Itachi we're the leafs Danzo, the third Hokage and the two advisors Homura and Koharu. With the third Hokage dead there are only three elders left to blow the secret and they are likely to never reveal the abominable truth that they are hiding. The truth about Itachi will fade into darkness just as he wished" I explained.

"I however know the truth" I reminded.

"What are you trying to tell me here?" Sasuke demanded.

"Remember, think back carefully and remember Itachi" I encouraged.

"Your kind and gentle older brother" Sasuke's head fell into his hands as the memories came flashing back. His breathing became ragged and uneven as sweat dripped down his face.

"No it's impossible, he didn't want to protect me he wanted to kill me! He tried to steal my eyes!" He shouted and I sighed.

"Why yours and not Rins? Rin's sharingan has had years over yours to advance and he's had years of opportunity at her side to take them. If he truly wanted another set of eyes he would have taken hers" I countered as he began to slip into a panic. I could see his hand reaching Rin's, for comfort but Rin didn't respond. Her teeth were clenched tightly and her glare only hardened.

"You need to calm down, just breathe" I said firmly and he struck out when I tried to reach for him.

"Don't touch me!" He shouted. I stepped back, deciding to wait for him to pass out. It glanced at Rin who seemed indifferent as Sasuke succumbed to his panic attack.
